Smells bad when hot
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It cooked well, but had a bad odor when hot. It seem to be a common problem with fryer. Takes 2-3 uses to get rid of smell.

An excellent basic air fryer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This air fryer is the 2nd one we have owned, but the first one with a digital display. Owning an air fryer without a digital display seems like a small thing until you have one with a digital display. Having said that I wish this fryer had presets. It sadly doesn't. You can set cooking times and temps and the unit gives a reminder so you know to shake the basket. Yet no presets functions. It does have a good size basket at 4.5 quarts and for our family that meets our needs. We have used it for chicken, fries & onion rings and all have tasted quite good. The food is crisp. It cooks the food completely. The fryer basket cleans easily and that is important. Our other unit is a bear to clean. The unit sits easily on the counter. It ties in well with our stainless appliances. It doesn't take up much space. Found it odd that there was no recipe book with the fryer. We did have recipes from the other one we owned. Thought including a recipe book would be standard. Thankfully, we have the internet. Overall though I would recommend as it does what it is supposed to do it. It just does it without all the bells and whistles.

2nd failed Chefman
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to replaced another Chefman air fryer (that has died) I bought here about 9 months ago and this one has stopped working in less than a week. Won’t even turn on. Returning as soon as they open. Thought going from the $60 model to the $70 model would be better. I do like that you can adjust the time and temp without having to stop the fryer unlike the previous model I had.

Nice Looking Solid Build Air Fryer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Chefman Turbo-Fry Touch Air Fryer 4.5 Quart fryer arrived in a well designed good looking box. All items in the box were well packaged and arrived with no damage. Upon opening, I unpacked the unit and found it easy to assemble for use. I washed all removable components before use to eliminate any manufacturing oils, smells, etc. The Chefman Turbo Fry Touch Air Fryer comes with a basket and basket rack that allows you to cook different items such as vegetables, potatoes, meats or fish at the same time. The fryer uses little or no oil to cook making for quick and easy clean up after use. The non-stick basket and basket rack are dishwasher safe and its ergonomic "square" shape make it easy to store when not in use. The unit has a 60 minute timer with an auto-off feature that lets you set cook time and temperature via capacitative touch controls. The unit is very easy to operate, use and clean. A one-year warranty comes with the air fryer.

First Time Airfryer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've never really had a reason for an airfryer. That is, until a friend showed me what they can make. It's a little bigger than I was hoping. I don't have much counter top space. So this tends to get put away when not in use. Overall the quality of this is outstanding. Nothing felt cheap or rattled. The LCD screen was bright, intuitive and easy to use. As for the quality of cooking. Yeah.. it's pretty awesome! I tend to avoid using oils and such when cooking because of the smell and mess. So having something that can make the same types of foods without the greasy smell and mess afterwards is a huge plus. And because it doesn't use oils, the cleanup is a breeze! Overall I'm very happy with this. I didn't think it would be something I would add to my normal kitchen use, but with how easy it is to use and clean it's become the go-to for those quick snacks or lunches/dinners when you don't want to cook.

Not a best buy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven't been able to use it. It did not come with any recipes, and the instructions give no method to converting recipes or using existing recipes. I tried contacting the company for some, and you need to use an access code to get the recipes. The access code on the machine will not work. I was on hold for over 30 minutes, and gave up. I sent an email to customer support, and I am awaiting a reply. The unit is huge, bigger than a coffeemaker. If I ever figure our how to use it, I may change my mind, but at this point I am greatly frustrated and disappointed.

Chefman All in One Air Fryer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Chefman Multifuctional Digital Air Fryer does it all. It has so many functions all in one product with less cooking oil than other Air Fryers. You can use to the new Chefman to air fry, roast, bake and even reheat which I like better than having to use a microwave. Accessories such as the rotating basket make for more complete cooking. I especially like being able to see the food while it cooks and the option to cook chicken wings and fries at the same time instead of using different devices is a big bonus. Auto shut off is always a great benefit. The Chefman Air Fyrer plus Rotisserie is the perfect size for sitting on the counter and convenient for meals all day.

Love this Air Fryer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don’t have much experience using Air Fryers, but I do like the Chefman TurboFry Touch Air Fryer. At a height of 13 inches it clears the cupboard doors so I don’t have to move it to open a door. It is very simple to use. There is a digital touch adjustment for temperature and one for time. That’s it. I can open it to shake/turn/check during the cycle and it starts back up where it left off. The instructions say that “Shake” will illuminate on the control panel during cooking but not exactly when (half way?). I didn’t see “Shake” at any time, but maybe I missed it. The basket and rack washed well in the dishwasher with no damage except some water spots. It is fairly quiet. I had one Air Fryer that was so noisy I had to put it in the utility room and shut the door. I couldn’t hear the TV over the Chefman Air Fryer, but the noise was bearable. What’s missing are any cooking instructions other than “most foods will fry best between 325 and 400 degrees F” and “preheat for 5 minutes”. The website has recipes, but you can’t get to them without an access code. The code is supposed to be in the back of the instruction manual (not there), inside the box (not there) or on the bottom of the unit. It is on the bottom of the Air Fryer but I got an error, saying it was invalid. I finally found a few recipes that gave me a general idea. The first time I tried it the chicken was fabulous, but the broccoli was fried to a burnt crisp. I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it once I find some specific cooking instructions. It is definitely compact, easy to use, easy to clean and performs as advertised.

Ease of use. As advertised.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quick and simple. No long review necessary. I've had many air fryers and this one is just as intuitive as any other brands I've used. The major benefit to this model is that it truly is easy to clean. My biggest gripe with other air fryers was cleaning meat/fat that gets in between the grates during cooking. That can be a pain to clear out. Not here, not so far. Hopefully it stays that way. The shake alert is a nice feature if you're not used to monitoring your food. Food comes out crisp just as advertised and for the size, it can cook up a good amount. Sleek and sturdy, you really can't go wrong here. Bon appetit.

simple to use
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this air fryer it is the most simple to use one I have come across. Others have complicated menus and options where as this is just a simple basic unit. It has temperature and time and that's it. No more fumbling thru menus. Super simple and intuitive anyone can use it. It does have a mix/flip alarm that beeps halfway through your cooking time but if you just ignore it it will silence and continue to cook for the whole time. Good clean design is simple to cleanup and looks great. The best feature of this unit is that it has no features...KISS
