Cooks foods like fries and tator tots great. Cooks all meats good as well. Only knock is the cooking tray has discolored and wont come clean.

I got it for Christmas. After couple months of using it, the drawer needs pressure to turn on. I think it has some kind of defect on the drawer.

Does not really fry as much as we expected. It could be that we had really high hopes with this air fryer

Longtime ago after a medical check, the family and I moved from our chicken winds Sunday in deep fryer into an air fryer option, and since, I am a firm believer that the technology delivers the same taste and texture with a lot of fewer calories. With that perspective in mind, I decided to give a try to the Chefman Chef Fryer, knowing that I have a couple of alternatives at home. Positive elements: I was especially attracted by the size, for a family of 4 like us, all the other options at home require a couple of batches to serve all the house chicken winds lovers, an 8 Quarts delivers the quantity in one single batch. The machine is very simple to operate and with a basic page of a quick start, a first time user could be ready from the box to the kitchen in a few minutes. There is a beauty in the simplicity with the few control panels: 4 pre-set options and just a couple of more controls for time and temperature makes this the simplest tool to introduce the kids in the cooking experience. I love also how silent is the entire process with this, other models at home, the fan is sometimes too noisy. Finally, my stainless steel model is a stylish model that fits in the kitchen vibe. Definitively, easy to clean with the non-stick basket that can also be wash in the top rack of your washing machine. Less good: I said that I can compare with the other models available at home and this is the reason why I am less excited about this one. I think that to obtain the same texture, I need to have the chicken-winds more time at the same temperature. I am still better off, with the fact that I can do all in one single process but I think that something is not accurate to require 10% more time. I am also no so excited about the basket rack size, this is so thin that the space that separates the oily outcome of the process from the product (for very grassy foods) is not big enough. Mixing feelings: as part of the process this machine proposes shaking the basket during cooking for even results, in reality, this gives the sense that the heat is not distributed evenly into the basket and the human interaction can compensate it. Not so fan of this. I still think that is a great option for beginners in the air frying and in a budget.

Bought on the deal of the day for $50 and after waiting two weeks we picked up and was ready to test it out. I plugged it in and started preparing my chicken wings. Once they were I looked over at the fryer and it had an "E1" code. That means the air fryer has run into an internal, electrical problem which may be temporary or permanent. We took back the next day and looking for a different brand. They don't make electronics last like they did years ago.

Works well and simple to use. However, not even 6 months after buying, the inside coating is flaking off.

Worked fantastic about 10 times then one day I plugged it in and nothing worked

I bought this junk 3 months ago and now it wont turn on

Settings and and controls are good. The bottom grill is hard to clean and didn’t last long

Works well - nice fryer but I did not know there was a CA cancer warning, and prefer to purchase another fryer.

After 9months of using this product, it started to glitch and now will not work at all. I have tried unplugging it, but nothing seems to work. Disappointed with this product. I thought that it would have at least last me for a couple of years. I guess I was wrong. The only reason I am giving it two stars is that it did work nicely until this situation.

I got this for my parents for Christmas, they only used it twice before it broke.

Worked great at first but now the basket has problems closing while cooking. Won’t be buying this again.

Just stopped working about 12months after purchase

WORKED GOOD , BUT FAMILY AND FRIENDS HAVE BETTER WORKING, BETTER QUALITY HOT AIR FRYERS

It’s nice but it’s really big and bulky and it does get a little noisy while cooking. So far so good tho.

Didn’t work as expected. Difficult to open and close

Little bigger than I was expected other than that easy to use it.

Bought 2 of these, and 1 had to be returned because it is not working.

I will be returning it. Did anybody else notice that there’s no vents on the side of the basket for air to blow down below the food? The owners manual shows there’s Vents on the sides of the basket but nope. There’s absolutely no way for the heat to get down below the sub floor especially if you’ve got the basket full of food. I put the basket half full with chicken tenders and the heat was not getting down to the lower area very well that’s why there’s supposed to be vents on the side of the basket to get air down below it up through the subfloor that you place in the bottom of the basket. Also the basket is a pain in the butt to slide into the unit. It somehow catches on the left side and you really have to work at it to get it to slide in properly.
