I have an air fryer from a different manufacturer, but I have never been 100% satisfied with it. I decided to take a chance with this one and I am so glad that I did! The touch screen controls are easy to operate, so making the cooking selections is simple. I did not need to pre heat; each time I just fill the basket with whatever I’m cooking and turn it on, and the food always comes out perfectly crisp and cooked thoroughly. I love the shake reminder feature - about halfway through the fryer will beep 3 times and “shake” will pop up on the screen. This is so helpful to not only remember to shake the basket but to also keep track of cooking time. The capacity of the basket was another big plus for me, and I was happy to see that the basket itself is solid construction. The other air fryer I have has holes for ventilation all around the basket, and it doesn’t get the food nearly as crisp. The Chefman air fryer is also very light and easy to move around which I greatly appreciated, as I store my small appliances on top of my kitchen cabinets, so I never have to worry when I’m taking it down or putting it up that I’m going to drop it or that’s it’s going to put me off balance and cause me to fall. Clean up was very simple, the basket came out sparkling clean after both hand wash and dishwasher. Overall I was very impressed with this air fryer and would highly recommend purchasing if you are in the market for one.

This Air Fryer is an excellent addition to any home kitchen. With very simple, easy to understand settings, even the novice chef can make it do what it needs to do. As I am a big fan of french fries, the one touch fry button is amazing. Just set your temp, set your time, and let it go! It even beeps at you to remind you to shake the basket around for even cooking. Highly recommend.

Air fryers seem to be the new "it" item for every kitchen. Chefman makes a product that looks sleek and fits in in our modern kitchen. The face is smooth and clean, with touch controls. The tray is as expected, with a large handle. The only negative about this unit is the actual basket that goes inside the tray. The rubber feet slide off too easily, so I can see them getting lost in the sink. Otherwise, food cooks easily and everything is really easy to clean.

I have been wanting an air fryer for a while now and I saw that this one had a great sale during Black Friday shopping. I swooped it up seeing that it was 8 qt. for an amazing price. I received it about two weeks later and used it that day to try it with some frozen fried shrimp and French fries and it worked amazing! It cooked the fries and shrimp both way faster than the oven does and they came out so good and not oily at all. The next day we tried it with our boneless, skinless, chicken breast and those came out great too. They also cooked super fast! 10/10 recommend. The only downside is that it is super big and I hate things being on the counter so it was pretty hard to find a storage space for it. But other than that, it is great. Clean up is easy too!

I was a little skeptical re: air frying but it is so easy and works so well! I made doughnuts, yep that's right doughnuts using biscuits from a can - used to do in a frying pan and it made a mess. No mess with the air fryer. French fries - outstanding.

Works good and super easy to clean and use. Only thing I would probably add is another rack for more food. Since it deep enough to fit some larger food, it would be nice to have another rack for more food if you’re only doing smaller food like chicken nuggets or fish sticks. Remember that there is a “preheating” stage, so maybe add a couple minutes if not warmed up already.

The Chefman air fryer is a nice-looking appliance but very big and weights about 12 + lbs. The documentation is lacking in exactly how to use the appliance. I had to go to the internet to find recipes. The presets are no help, as Chicken is 22 minutes, but no indication of the quantity (lbs, etc). Meat preset, is it for steak or pork which would take longer. With no sample recipes and no indication of tutorials, recipes on web site, I finally went to the Chefman website and tried to log into the Chefman club, but the access code on the bottom of the air fryer would not work. I finally was able to send an email and received a code to log into the recipe club. The instruction booklet said not to use metal appliance to remove the basket. I was unable to remove it when I did fried potatoes and had to dump them out. The basket has a very short handle and seems to fit too tightly into the air fryer. I wish it had handles on each side for easier removal. Need the instruction booklet to give you more information on using an air fryer and perhaps a guide (400 degrees in oven at 40 minutes is roughly equivalent to XX number of minutes in the air fryer. Also what type of pans to use. I cooked hot dogs, breaded chicken tenders, frozen meatballs and fresh diced potatoes. All came out well and I think I will enjoy using the versatile appliance, once I get more familiar with it. I give it 5 stars for cooking and convivence. Cons The capacitive touch controls do not work well. I could never turn it off using the off button and had to resort to unplugging from the wall. Setting the time and temp controls did not always work properly and often reset to default.

I've had many air fryers over the years, and this one is just as good as the rest. It has a very modern vibe going for it, and I love that the controls are touch sensitive and hidden in the screen, so when it powers off all you see is black. One minor issue is that this one is louder than normal compared to the others I have used. Other than that, I would highly recommend it.

Love this one. Big and so much easier to clean than the ones I've had before. And I love that it has a reminder to flip.

This air fryer is really quiet and holds a lot of food. It cooks evenly and so easy to clean

Great purchase! Large to cook enough for a family. Clean up is a breeze.

Its so easy to clean and use. I love the space, it can air fry a lot of food

So far after 4 months it's great no issues. The only problem is the preset cook items such as chicken and meats may not be the right times and temp to cook recipes. So you have to go with your own judgement as a cook if you like it raw, medium, or well done. The rubber tabs for the basket may wear out early so need to know where to find replacement parts. The only issue with operation is the top plate of the unit slightly rattles if there is a long cook time.

Big exterior, beautiful inside, works well, worth the price

I have had this fryer for about a month now and we make a lot in it! It works very well and my kids love trying out new things with it. So far, no complaints and definitely recommend!

This was absolutely one of the best purchases I have ever made for myself in a long time. My family loves it and we all use it daily. I don't know how I ever did without it!!!
