    I've always owned generic irons so the Chi is an upgrade for me. It's heavy and made out of higher higher quality materials; also looks nice sitting on the ironing board which is where my irons are always parked being the job is seemingly never done. I was concerned at first as the initial black t-shirt I tried it on, it left a white residue on the thicker seamed areas. It appears that might have been due to newness, as subsequent clothing has turned out okay. So far it's been a good investment. No 5-star rating due to that first issue with the residue. Maybe wipe the sole plate clean before you use it.

    definitely the best steam iron i have purchased...easy to use and plenty of steam, but always keep clean from the buildup.

    We rowenta finally quit after a decade and this iron has been a pleasant surprise. I personally didn’t expect much from it but it has worked very well in addition having a recoiling cord which is convenient

    This is the first iron I have purchased in 15 years! I absolutely love it!! Really nice to have an iron the glides over my clothes really smooth. It is a little heavier than my old iron, but I don't mind it.

    I love how powerful the steam is. It makes ironning clothes so much easier. Water runs out quickly though so I have to keep some water close to me so I can refill and continue with ironing.

    Straight out of the box the touchscreen doesnt work. Will be returning tomorrow. I like the feel and design but that touch screen is terrible. I bought this to replace my 7 year old Shark thats been on the frits. Highly disappointed that this didnt work out. Seems like it could be a great product but they need to fix the touchscreen. I should have know it wasnt going to be good because the manual is so limited on information and the website was no help.
