Such a shame that a movie this good didn't get the attention and audience it deserved. The acting is flawless, the story is gripping; some of the scenes are so intense, I was brought to tears. As bleak as it is, it contains one of the most realistic visions of the future I have ever seen on film. Children of Men is the epitome of a MUST SEE.

One of the best realism movies I've seen in a long time. The long takes and timing of events during a take are very well done. Now if only the actors portrayal was more convincing....ah well, all movies have thier weaknesses. Kudos to the director on a wellmade movie.

This movie is a treasure. Excellent cinematography, masterful ambiance, and a heart wrenching story. It definitely isn't for someone looking for a happy go lucky movie, but if you want a movie that will make you think, this is it.

Keep watching, watch it several times, watch it again! Its good! Set in a apocalyptic future this movie is far fetched but so darn good it doesn't matter. Worth watching!

Can't recommend this movie highly enough. If you are a fan of dystopian movies this one is among the best. The a/v quality of this blu-ray also far surpass its dvd counterpart. Go buy this movie.

Clive Owen is fantastic in this apocalyptic thriller. Tense from opening scene to end, the cinematography of this film is jaw-dropping. The detail of the blu-ray is exquisite as is the acting.

Alfonso Cuaron, director of Gravity, takes you to the future were the human race can't have anymore children. The film is wonderfully shot. The plot, setting, and acting is all top notch.

I was so impressed with this movie. It has some of the most riveting action sequences I've ever seen. All great actors and the story keeps your eyes glued to the screen. I highly recommend this one.

No, this film is not overrated...if anything it's underrated. It got lost in the Christmas shuffle in '06, but it deserved much recognition. This film does have it's flaws, but it's an amazing and interesting look at the future and the effects of government control. Cuaron does an amazing job in the directors chair.

This film is truly a monumental achievement in filmmaking, especially in terms of the scope of the production design & cinematography. This is true science fiction.

Very underrated movie with great chemistry between Clive Owen and Michael Caine. Impressive, but not perfect pic & sound quality.

While this release makes the film look pretty generic due to the unenthusiastic case and such, the cinematography is worth the price of admission, especially at this price.
