This is one of my all time favorite movies mainly because I have a car that I called Christine after seeing this movie. My Christine is a 1964 & 1/2 Mustang that will not die and I've had her since I turned 15 in 1978. I once hooked up an oil pressure gauge to monitor it as I would drive around town and most times it read nearly 0 but she kept on going. She's also very temperamental as only I can get her to start. Yes I know all I've talked about is my car but if you have never seen this movie it's basically about a car that is alive and so long as you put her first she will take care of you and the s hitters that harm you or her. No nudity, 5 dead bodies and some blood. Give it a chance it's a Steven King story and directed by John Carpenter.

This movie is an alltime classic horror movie that must be in everyone's collection.

So many quotable lines in this movie! I love revisiting this film. I watch at least once a year. Its not complex but gives great performances by the entire cast that are believable and grounded considering the concept which is a teenager infatuated by his car to ridiculous degrees. I love the dark shots, bright colors and two standout shots i always think of. The first being Christine reshaping and fixing herself up after being bashed up, sliced up, and deficated upon. Also the Scene in which Christine is on fire and is about to run over Buddy. Just classic! This new transfer is very clean and the reds jump of the screen. Sharp with a little natural grain in tacted. Definitely worthy of a pick up especially for $20

This Is A Classic Movie For Horror & Christine Fans To Collect Only If You Want The Steel Book Copy Which Has A Cool Neat Cover. Why I Say This Cause If You Already Own The Regular Copy On Blu Ray Or Have The Special Edition Of Christine On DVD, Your Not Getting Anything Different On This Release When It Comes To Extras. Same Special Features Just Wit More Audio Language Options To Choose From. I Think If They Had A Special New Feature To This Film Where They Could Of Added The Deleted Scenes To The Film To Made It Longer & Go More In Detail With The Characters In The Story Like The Book Would Of Been Excellent For This Copy. So If Your Looking For Anything Else Just Save Your Cash Unless The Steel Book Is What Your Into & Looking For & Don't Have The Other Versions Of This Film.

The transfer for this movie looks amazing, I originally watched it in VHS and cable television but unlike Top Gun this 4K transfer looked and sounded amazing! HDR is very obvious especially in scenes where there's fire at night... The Dolby Atmos is also very present during rain and when the engine is reving from inside the car! If you thought about picking up this movie, I highly recommend it in 4K!

Great oldschool horror classic. Miss the feeling if these older horror movies

A movie everyone should have in their collection. The steelbook is a plus.

This is the best available presentation of a film that is criminally overlooked in John Carpenter's oeuvre and the long list of Stephen King film adaptations. It's the story of a young man and his relationship with a demonic car that serves as a perfect allegory for an abusive relationship. In terms of special features, nothing has been added to this release that wasn't in the blu ray release but the upgrade to audio and video are appreciated and the price is right.

I aways enjoyed this movie since i was a child. It does look better in uhd.
