I purchased this blu-ray solely to add to my growing collection of steelbook blu-rays. I cannot attest to the video or audio quality on the disc because I have never opened it. It's a shame that BB doesn't provide a picture in its description because the art on the case is awesome. As for ole Christine...it's a classic! John Carpenter really nailed a Stephen King classic!!!

An exceptionally underrated film from the master, ripe with wonderful acting and dialogue. More gore would’ve been appreciated, but after audiences inexplicably didn’t take to “The Thing,” (one of the greatest horror films ever), this tamer, studio-friendly film is understandable. Transfer rules, so double or triple dip with confidence.

I missed out on Twilight Time's limited edition for this bluray a few years back, so I'm very happy that Sony decided to release it themselves at a very affordable price. The movie itself is one of Carpenter's better efforts. It has a fantastic ominous score which sounds great in 5.1. The picture quality is amazing. Christine never looked so shiny and red. Very clean, detailed and filmic. All the bonus features from the special edition DVD are also featured on this release plus a uv digital copy. This is an easy recommend. I wish all catalogue titles received this treatment.

Not sure going in if this would be either really campy or taken in a more suspenseful direction. It could have work either way and I'm glad it went the more suspenseful route. Glad I picked this up. It's not John Carpenter's more well known film like Halloween, The Thing, or They Live. There is enough atmosphere to make this worth a watch. Also reading the book now.

Nearly everyone already has their own opinions on this movie. But if you happen to be a fan, then you'll want to own this beautifully transferred 4K UHD version. Simply the best this movie has ever looked. Well worth the money for anyone who wants to have the best.

very rich colors and action just seems better in 4k - i am big Stephen King fan except for a few tv shows i think i have most of his movies and mini series - even though i know the outcome - still great movie to watch over and over again and do have to say that song on radio it plays before killing still gives me the creeps

John Carpenter string of hits continued in this classic adaptation of Stephen King’s Christine about a possessed Plymouth. You’ll never look at a Plymouth Fury the same again. That is if you can find one that hasn’t rusted to pieces after 60 some years.

John Carpenter's "Christine" is a fun film. It's not Carpenter's best film by a long shot, and in many ways he might've been the wrong director for it. Back in the day, I didn't think it was very good. But with the passage of time, it has grown on me with a seductive, creeping allure, to the point that I'm now happy to own it on Blu-ray. Christine may have a gorgeous body, but at heart she's a cold and evil killer. I'd hate to meet her in a dark alley! An entertaining film.

Very cool steelbook! Arrived free of any dents and scratches which is always a huge plus. I had actually never seen Christine before until I got this steelbook. Huge thumbs up! Also the 4K looks absolutely stunning and crisp. Highly recommend!

About 30 or so years ago, I caught this at a three screen drive in in Northeastern Ohio. I was thrilled back then and I still am to this day. What an awesome ride Christine provides the viewers. It's not at all scary but thoroughly entertaining, and Keith Gordon has never been better in the lead role of Arnie Cunningham. One of Carpenter's best.

Great movie. Seems like a lot of the movie adaptations of Stephen King's books are hardly recognizable once the hit celluloid due to director's taking huge liberties during the filming. This one stay pretty true to form and even though most of the actors never went on to huge careers, they do a great job in this movie. Highly recommended.

John Carpenter does it again bringing to life Stephen King's story of a nerdy young man who finally gets the girl. In this case it's a possessed 58 plymouth fury who gets easily jealous. With themes that are timeless this movie is relevant even today. This is a guilty Halloween veiwing pleasure.

Christine was my 3 favorite film..my first 1 was Halloween and the fog..The HDR really brought the color out..Christine looked really good with her red color..I loved the steelbox.. P.s I wish I had a car that repaired itself..Not murderous though lol

If you love reading Steven King novels or you enjoy watching Horror Movies, this movie is for you! I read the book and then saw the movie, and the movie is very much like the book - it's great! However, don't buy this movie if you are afraid of horror movies or you don't like Steven King.

This classic horror flick, scary, but very well put together, and has many great, fantastic special effects throughout the movie. We also love the fact that this movie is now available on the 4K format. Best Buy has it all, under one roof.

I've watched this on cable, VHS, and DVD so many times since 1st seeing it in a theater.but finally having it on BluRay is so cool. The picture and audio quality are both perfect and the extras well worth your time. The steel book case is also really cool so all in all I definitely recommend buying this.

Like most people I was not able to get a hold of the original blu-ray release of Christine, and since then its price just went up and up. Well thank goodness for patience, as one of my favorite film is now widely available on blu-ray. This may be one of the first horror films I saw as a kid, and it still gets me every time.

As an avid collector of movies I was thrilled to see that Best Buy was carrying Christine on Blu-ray. Christine while not the scariest horror flick is one of the better renditions of a King novel to film. The technical aspects of the Blu-ray are totally fine and well worth the cost for all movie and/or horror buffs.

Glade to see Best Buy exclusives are going for the classics too, and not just new releases. Very well done artwork for this awesome 4K steelbook Blu-Ray. I love these Best Buy exclusives, keep them coming. Movie is beyond amazing itself. I highly recommend this to a friend.
