The quality of the 4K hdr is amazing for such a old movie. I’ve been really impressed with the transfer. Definitely worth a purchase for any old school horror movie fan.

Christine is no classic -- it falls somewhere in the middle as far as Stephen Kind adaptations go. Not nearly as good as The Dead Zone or Cujo, but miles better than Lawnmower Man or Silver Bullet. But it's fun and well made and an enjoyable way to kill a couple of hours. Great songs! The steelbook cover is the ugliest I've ever seen -- but it was $5 cheaper than the regular cover, so steelbook it is.

There are certainly better movies based on Stephen King's books than this one, The Shining, or Carrie to name but two. However, this doesn't mean that Christine is bad, in fact, it is one of those movies that lingers with you after you left the theater. Which could be good for some people, and bad for others. To me, it's all good. It's good to have a high quality version.

This film never gets old. It has definitely stood the test of time. Even to this day, looking at any red car of that era of time, much less the Plymouth Fury, takes your brain immediately to Christine. Now on blu ray, plus steelbook, definitely a must have.

Christine is a classic movie about a bond between man and car.. love this movie! I remember watching it as a kid and now my 11yr old loves watching it too.. Great story about a bad a** car that takes revenge over bullies and takes matters into its own hands..

What can't be said about this film besides awesome. I must have seen this movie about a dozen times but it gets better with age. The graphics upgrade and the awesome steel book cover case makes this a keeper. Highly recommend this old school horror film.

I was just looking at the movie section when my attention was coughed by the looks of the Cadillac and brought back the memories when I watched this movie for the first time I had to have it.

It wasn't the first time I've seen a demon car movie. But this was definitely the best of the two the other being "The Car" from the seventies with James Brolin. Their's something very cool about this movie. It's kinda like "Lost boy's" or "Near dark".

Christine is a cult classic horror film about a beautiful and possessed car. Some of the deaths are cheap but the mood, music, and characters make this a classic forever. This special edition package from Best Buy is a great item for enthusiasts.

First time ive seen this movie, I have no frame of reference buuut... wow, looks like it was made yeterday, and the sound was really dynamic and textured. I have no idea what work they put into it but i was blown away and had a blast! Great movie and best way to see it i would say

Carpenter and King made, of all things, a killer car legit scary, and that self-regenerating effect is as chilling as it is cool to watch. I know King gets some grief for his stories featuring supernatural elements with no explanation, but removing the explanation (as opposed to the book) really works to the story's advantage in this case. The car is evil because... it just is.

I’ve seen this movie countless times, on vhs, then laserdisc and DVD. This is far and away the best it’s ever looked and sounded. The Atmos track is amazingly aggressive for a movie from 1983 without feeling overly gimmicky.

This is a classic must have for any John Carpenter fan. The 4k and blu ray transfers are immaculate. The minimalism filming techniques and attention to detail are what make this movie a must own. Packaging is worth it.

One of the best from Stephen King, and one of the best from John Carpenter. Great story, great Director, equals great film. And... It’s a 4K Steelbook! You know you want it.

Cool movie about a killer car. the blu-ray looks amazing and definitely worth the upgrade to blu. It also sounds amazing with hd sound. I'm so glad sony decided to release this in a very affordable price. This is a great purchase for any fan of the film.

Very cool steelbook edition, could have had more effort put into presentation. The front is cool while the back of the case is blank. Nothing inside. Same disc as non-steelbook edition.

this a ditterent kind of spooky movie it is about a car and how it posses a nerd to turn him into someone he's not.a car that's possed and what occurs with every one who comes in contact with it really good movie great movie to watch more than once

John Carpenter director of Halloween (1978) directs this underrated gem. Take away The Shape, add a beatiful car, a great score, a good cast and you got Christine. If you have never seen this but enjoy hidden gems you can't go wrong with this movie.

This was originally a limited blu ray release by Twilight Time. But the new Sony release is not only cheaper but is available in much greater quantities ensuring that fans of the movie can easily obtain a copy. The picture and sound are excellent.
