Updated to this unit from a earlier 1080 P version that kept overheating and shutting down. This unit seems to be much better and we’ve been able to watch without any problems at all. It seems like another good updated model from Google. I happened to purchase the last one on the shelf at my local Best Buy so my assumption is that they are doing well.

This is a great option for anyone looking for a simple way to add streaming services to their TV. I've even added a few of these to my "smart" TVs because the interface is so much easier and more useful.

Highly recommend buying this. First of all it’s $50 and it has a great App selection. I have an Apple TV 4K and like using the chrome cast with Google TV more. You can even download an app that lets you airplay to this Chromecast for those who have an iPad or iPhone. I’m going to sell my Apple TV 4K and get a few more of these Chromecasts with Google TV.

I like very much the integration of all apps in the main screen so you don't have to keep opening apps to load content. Very easy to use, however I have to admit that the ergonomics/grip of the remote is not the better. It easily slides out of my hand and keeps turning as I'm holding it which sometimes is annoying and makes your hand tired from holding it strong, specially during configuration or when browsing, which is when you hold the remote for longer periods of time.

10x more powerful and easy to use than any built-in TV interface, Plus super convenient with casting from other devices and I love the Google Assistant button to use your voice to open apps and for general info.

I used to use all my apps that were available with my smart TV. However, there was latency when using the apps so I decided to get the Chromecast. The user interface is extremely simple to use and there is a variety of applications available. I plan on purchasing more Chromecasts for the rest of the TV's.

This product is excellent, easy to use, and well assembled. I have a perfectly fine VIZIO TV (5-year-old) that is not updating to new Apps like Disney+, etc.. This Chromecast save me hundreds since I won't need to replace my old TV, just buy this product for $49 and it works better since I'm able to see all my subscription in one place from one screen.

I wanted to finally ditch cable and Chromecast with Google TV has been more than I expected it to be the chromecast remote has been awesome in an easy transition away from cable.

I am coming from a 4k Apple TV that went into the closet. The Google TV has the best user interface and snappiness out of all streaming devices. The remote could be a tad bigger, but better than the apple tv remote that is too sensitive. This is the best streaming device for youtube and youtube tv and I have used them all, including the Nvidia Shield TV.

Easy setup and great to have a remote. Works great with Youtube TV.

Best 4k steamer + stadia available. Just sign in with your gmail account and you're ready to roll. It also has a great single interface for accessing all your streaming services. I got it on sale but after having owned it for a few months, I am planning on picking up another to replace a Roku on a secondary TV.

We needed 7 for our fitness studio MVMT LAB as we have video technology of exercises using Cloudfit.tv technology!!! I want to switch my home tv sticks as Chromecast is awesome!!! Easy to use!

I love this! I both have this as well as Apple TV and they are both great. So easy to install and use. It is so simple to turn on and use that even my toddler boy tries to have an access to Netflix! The design is so modern and simple that makes it even more special. I have been buying a lot to give as gifts to my friends and families! Amazing product!

I have really enjoyed this product as my main streaming device even though I have several Fire Sticks. I enjoy the user friendly interface. My only gripe is that I was not able to download the xfinity streaming app from the native google play store but other than that I have been able to watch everything anyway.
