Great for connecting my older TV to streaming services. Very easy to set-up and get going.

Great new chromecast. This was the device that allowed us to finally cut the cord. We have youtubeTV and the integration with the live guide and all of our other content in one place made the change fairly easy. There are some hiccups however. The main one being the remote. It is easy to use however on more than one occasion it locks up for lack of a better word requiring a hard reset of the chromecast itself. This is annoying to say the least because you then have to go through all of your services again and log in, download the apps you want and pair the remote. The other remote issue is that it is, in my opinion, extremely touchy. If you have this set on an arm rest of your couch and you just brush it with your hand or anything, it turns off, changes channel, goes to the home screen, you get the idea. I also dislike the placement of the volume rocker on the side. Not very ergonomic. All in all I would recommend this product, my hope is that somehow a 3rd party company can release a better remote. Hmm I wonder if a Logitech Harmony would work.....

Amazing, I previously owned the gen 2 chromecast and this is definitely a step up, the quality is great and I love the Google TV interface, it makes searching easy because everything is in one place. It's a must buy.

We have been using this product for over a month. it has met all of our expectations. Lots of programming apps that can be downloaded & used. Disney, Discovery+, Plex TV, Pluto TV, etc. so many. very simple Remote!

Amazing improvement over the previous version. The new Chromecast has Google Webtv for it's menus. This absolutely blows Roku away in every way now, including price. Integrates seamlessly with google home.

I love this little device. I have the fire stick and I was skeptical about getting this but when I did, I immediately spot the difference, I’ll pick this over the fire stick any day.

I have to say it's one of the best streaming devices that I have ever used. And I have used multiple streaming devices when I bought this one I had a fire stick now I would never go back to Amazon

This was the 2nd Chromecast I've bought. They work well with our TV's. They were easy to setup and are a snap to work with. The remote and Google TV format are an order of magnitude improvement over the original Chromecast.

Can't recommend this enough. It's great, interface is great, voice recognition is great. If you are on the Google ecosystem i.e YouTube, YouTube tv. This is a must if your TV isn't already android equipped.

Great Product for a TV that is not smart. I this one better than the old one because I don't have to use my phone for a remote it comes with a remote

I bought this for 2 main needs: having a remote for YouTube TV and as a solution for a bad Wi-Fi chip in my 75” Vizio tv. The remote fills my needs and the Wi-Fi replacement is a good alternative.

Google 4k is GREAT! Easy to install and makes all apps quick to use. Beautiful color and very vivid.

My first Chromecast 4K, HDR. Now I got a second one for home. I will tell for me the best feature is to have a Bluetooth connection. I connected my B&O headphone very easy, you don't need to fine a app for. The remote is very good design and easy to use, thank you Google team.

I really wish TVs would continue to receive software updates instead of all of the new software features being exclusive to the new model each year. Introducing Chromecast. I use this exclusively instead of my $2,700 OLED LG TV's built-in software because I purchased that in 2017 and despite it having the processing power it hasn't gotten any worthwhile software updates since 2016. For me, this is the fix to a problem that shouldn't exist but it's a good fix. It works pretty well with google home too but a lot of programs won't actually open completely via voice command. It will open to the user select screen and ready up the content in the background but you have to select a user before it will start to play. When casting content it is more seamless and fortunately this may be fixed someday because this thing DOES get software updates. YAY.

The high praise is founded for this. Great clarity whether streaming in 4K UHD, HDR, HDR10. Haven't had any buffering so far. In fact I haven't turned on my Nvidia Shield since I purchased this for video streaming content.

Excellent value for money. 4k is really good. Just buy a big screen tv and plug this in, is much better than smart tvs

It is so easy to cast on a TV from quest 3 ! not to mention a ton of tv channels!

This will change the way you watch TV. One of the best Google hardware products there is. It puts all of your streaming apps in one place. It is easy to setup and will turn any older TV into a Smart TV. I highly recommend it.
