Easy device to navigate and download apps, control is really worth it.

Great product. You can download video apps, add a USB c adapter to plug in a flash drive and watch downloaded content. Though you need to buy a stronger wall charger, currently using a 45w fast charger for it. I also recently found out you can download VPN apps and watch UK (or other countries) Netflix. I'm really happy with this purchase.

Excellent product. Has worked flawlessly since installing it. As with other devices like Roku, you have to have your usernames and passwords and/or a laptop available to get the device to work with your Streaming media service. Also you may need your Google Home app on your phone. While it has a volume control, I haven't been able to configure it for my receiver

Greatest item for streaming. Much better than Amazon or rocku

I like this product a lot, but there are two things that keep it from being five stars. First, I have had a couple instances of the software crashing. Not a big issue as it resets itself and reloads without issue. The second item is that the remote’s design makes it somewhat slippery to the hand and surfaces. I believe it should have some rubber surfaces so it sticks a little better.

I honestly REALLY wanted to like this unit, but it doesn't work well with my Sony LCD TV. If the TV is shut off for more than a few hours, the ONLY way this will work again is to unplug it and plug it back in. It won't turn the TV back on, and even if I turn it on manually, the Chromecast device does not function, the screen is blank. Its like it goes into some sort of standbye mode and will not come out of it without a complete restart. I've gone back to my Roku... really kinda bummed. NOTE: This seems to be a common issue based on some internet searches. Maybe a software update can fix it?

Purchased two of these to supplement a smart TV and an old Roku. So glad I did. The lagginess of YouTubeTV is completely gone with the new Chromecast. Plus talking to the remote to find programs across multiple streaming channels is amazing.

This is so much easier to use than Firestick. Very user-friendly.

Great way to give an older smart TV new life. Smooth menus, tons of Apps available (Android TV based, so you could use your TV provider account for many of them) You could easily eliminate a cable box with this and your cable provider account. Google assistant, source option, and volume are added features. I'd go five stars if you could filter out items that you do not subscribe to. I use this on the same 2013 model Samsung 60" TV/Room as a Bose 500 With Google Assistant, no issues.

Works great, much better with the remote compared to the old chromecast.
