    I had a TV in my bar area that worked great before Spectrum forced all TVs to have a cable box to get all channels. The TV hung unused for over two years. Now with this device I can stream video on Google TV to it again. I can even stream all my Spectrum cable channels using Chromecast to cast the Spectrum app from my phone to the TV.

    Really like having the chromecast. It is a good value and works well when the tvs OS stops getting updates. I had an older LG whose apps stopped receiving updates and this helped me from having to buy a new tv.

    I was on the fence about buying another chromecast but I'm glad I bought this one. I love that all the apps are built in and I don't have to use my phone to stream anymore. The video quality looks amazing when paired with a 4k capable TV. The included remote works great and I love that I can search for shows and movies with my voice.

    As most of my home is Google now, this seemed like a great product to use with my new 4K TV. I had wanted another Apple TV with 4K (I have an older version that is not 4K), but wasn't ready to shell out the money. Chromecast is pretty nice because it can control my soundbar and TV, plus you can talk to it, and it has a much better click response than my Apple TV remote. However, it does have connectivity problems more often than I'd like.

    I bought this to connect my Projector to my sound system. Works seamlessly and has good voice recognition on apps like youtube. Good Product by google.

    The best streaming device out there. I bought it because I didn’t want to connect my tv to the internet and deal with their operating system. This is basically an android tv with chrome cast built in instead of the older chrome casts where all you could do is cast to it. This has apps and games and all that good stuff

    great device! Love the fact that i can control my tv or surround sound volume with the volume buttons and turn on/off as well. Great for different profiles to have the kids watch only approved channels.

    I really enjoy the Google TV UI over regular Android TV. It doesn't compete hardware wise with the Nvidia Sheild, but for the price I would not expect it to. Yet, there can be occasional hickups when navigating through the interface. The Google Play Store has a robust selection of apps. From what I can tell, the platform is only missing BritBox and Apple TV+, but unless you are heavily into the Apple ecosystem, I don't consider it to be a deal breaker.
