Works fine but was harder to set up than it should be, the remote is just to small and do not like button positions for me. I did like the menu selections options set it is easy to see show listings, I have Firestick and Roku units also.

Works well with non 4k tv. Loading times aren't too bad, or hardly noticeable. I love how I can also use it as a google assistant and check the weather. If you happen to have Arlo, you can view your camera feeds. I would imagine it works with your Nest camera's as well.

The new streaming apps are nice, but not really necessary for my needs. Mainly use it for casting to the TV from my phone when traveling, or sporting events that aren't carried on my streaming services. The need to have a power outlet is limiting however.

Love it, much better than the Roku interface my smart TV came with. It's runs very smooth and has all the TV services I use. I wish the remote was a little bigger.

I used to navigate through my streaming apps using my tv default smart OS. What a difference now that I’ve got the chromecast with Google TV. Now I enjoy more my overall TV experience and my available free and paid streaming services.

The only reason I bought this for emulating games on my tv with a usb c hub and flash drive, with a usb c to usb c cable and with a usb c brick 31 wats or higher and the flash drive can be 32GB or higher depending on how many apps you use and emulators and roms you download.

I love that you can control the chromecast, tv, and sound system all with one remote. You can also save multiple TVs to the device to be controlled with your remote. The best streaming device hands down.

Excellent device to upgrade an old tv to a smart tv. I lost the remote in a move but I could not buy just the remote, so I purchased this set. Works great.

First I didn't like Google TV. Sure it has a lot of things you can get to but I'm old enough to remember when you turned on a TV it just came on and started playing the most recent channel. I hated having to go through several clicks just to watch what I want. How about defaulting to the last thing watched? The design of the remote is really dumb. The thing is like a greased boiled egg. You made it a smooth oval shape so you have to look at it to see which end is pointed where. Give it a shape you can feel so you know what you're doing without looking at it. Also make it easier to hold onto and the buttons obvious by feel. Lastly, I bought several of these things for my house and since I didn't like it and switched to cable (the lesser of 2 evils), the devices appear to be useless. I tried to find out if you can use them without Google TV so I could still use them with my Google Nest. You know, verbal commands stuff. From asking Geek sqd, looking online and asking anyone in your store, nobody seems to know what to do with the devices if you don't have GTV. That's a costly mistake. For people who are disabled it would be great just to be able to use the smart features. Try thinking about people are are not 16 and would just like a practical device. It's too cutesie. I got rid of cable to get this for my home. Cable is too big for their britches and generally sucks as a monolopy. Your senior management people make way too much money to allow doing the minimum. How about trading in 5 percent of your millions to make your company one that people seek out instead of having only one choice? Make it far better. Greed was cool in the 80's. Now it makes CEO's look like money grubbing jerks. Let's get back to real value and service shall we?

Love the Chromecast and all is has to offer. Can't wait to see how this device evolves over time.

This is what we have been waiting for from Google! It brings together all your streaming services onto one platform. It makes cord cutting a lot less painful. Great product.

Bought this for my Oculus to cast and setup was easy

The new Google Chromecast is a nice improvement over the previous model.

Getting used to it. It needs a few bug fixes but I love the remote!

Flawless solution to cast from a computer to a big screen. A great way to carry on my Youtube, Max and many others suscription, just need a HDMI port, internet and voila!

Using this to cast F1TV to the television. Works as advertised. You do need to use the enclosed power supply because the TV USB port probably is not powerful to run the Chromecast. So plan ahead and either buy a long USB cable or make sure there is an open outlet close to the TV.

Its a google product works great. I have had a hard time using the google home and the push to talk on it. But mainly saying HEY GOOGLE and google home recognizing which app i want.

This is the best under-$50 item I've ever bought! I've been using Chromecast for a long time with my phone or computer and it worked OK but was a little difficult to switch channels or find the program I wanted. Google TV solved that and is so much more with voice search.

I bought this to replace a previous generation Chromecast, and it was definitely worth it since it can do so much more than just casting. The UI is snappy and gives you access to all your content, it also works with your other Google smart speakers and devices.
