These are great for those who travel or for your home tv. Some of us like to throw all kinds of wild content from our phone to the tv while we are away from family or work with out fear of judgement and let me tell you google makes it so easy. In fact so easy that now my right arm is much more tone. Its good for health!!

Great streamer for the money and ease of use. Works decently well with iPhone if needed but this over the regular Chromecast, remote makes it easy to use.

Great connectivity with phone, but having a remote is a nice touch. utilization of 4k on youtuube and streaming services is amazing.

I think it's better than firetv 4k if you don't plan to use Alexa but fireTV works great with Alexa. I have both and Chromecast has a better user interface. I took a star off only because I just realized that streaming sucks in general. I should not have bought fireTV or Chromecast but a Roku ultra or above. People don't know that the cheaper the streamer the lower the bitrate and less quality video. Nvidia TV has the best quality video but it cost $200. Of course cable and fiber is probably better.

My wife and I had the original Chromecast, and I always favored the freedom and how up to date the system was, but it wasn’t always convenient pulling out your phone and installing all these apps to then cast to your tv, but with the new Chromecast, her and I absolutely love it! The interface is smooth and intuitive, and the voice assistance is the best on the market, in my opinion. I think for the price point, this clearly beats the other competition, even if you’re not a Google person, it’s worth to try out because it’s really not a device that will put you in the hole. Overall, love the experience!

Before I purchased this product I was tossing between buying another firestick or the chromecast. I am so glad I made the right choice when I picked the chromecast over the firestick. I love the fact that I have 1 remote for everything I need when watching TV; controls the volume, power & of course ALL the apps. The set up was very easy & self explanatory. If you plug it directly to the tv's usb it will reboot every single time because it doesn't have enough power, make it's sure plugged directly to a wall outlet. In my opinion better than the firestick; the best $50 dollars I've spent!

Simple to install and use, organizers so our streaming services in one convenient interface. The controller is intuitively designed and works smoothly.

I used to have Roku units that I purchased from Best Buy on all my TVs until Roku started sending notices that they were not able to reach agreements with various streaming services and threatening to discontinue those services. It is not my responsibility to participate in those resolutions. So I replaced all of my Roku units with Chromecast Wth Google TV. What a difference! These work so much easier and I recommend them to everyone! These units anticipate what you want to watch based on what you have viewed from multiple streaming services.

Mainly purchased this so i could cast my oculus quest 2 to my tv. Worked perfectly. Now i mostly use it for all my streaming services. Love it.

Work wonderfully and way better than Roku, works well with my 4k tv. Easy set up and love the ability to cast. Easily hidden and takes no time at all to install.

We love our Chromecast so much that this purchase was actually a present for someone else. Very easy to use. One suggestion, though. With its size and smoothness, you may want to purchase a non slip case for it. Highly recommend!

Works fine and I could add all the streaming apps I have. Color white is fine since you don't see the device (behind the TV) and I bought a colored cover for the remote. Remote is easy to use. The only bad thing is that I couldn't sincronize my TV and my JBL sound bar model (although it has a lot of brands) to manage them from the Google TV remote.

If you live in the Google universe, this is the best streaming device out there. I started with one in the living room, but quickly went back to buy two more for my other TVs. The naming convention is confusing - this is much better than the original Chromecast device (without a remote) that requires a cell phone to use. This device can replace a Roku or an Apple TV. If you buy any movies or TV shows on an Android phone, they are watchable here on your TV. There are a ton of apps for streaming services including Netflix, Hulu, AppleTV, Disney+, Plex, Peacock, and more.

Great streaming device. Much faster than my TV's smart features. And this Chromcast has a great remote and many more apps than my TV does. Also, you can use this for Stadia. Stadia is getting better, so this thing is like a futuristic game console. Great purchase. Only issue, and its minor, sometimes Youtube will freeze if you skip to Youtube with the button on the remote. Weird for that to happen on a Google device, but I'm sure they'll iron that out. If this happens to you, just unplug and reconnect power to the Chromecast. Then, go to Youtube from Home - that works great.

Love the new Chromecast. The remote controls volume and power on my tv which is nice. The interface is snappy. Has all the apps I need. Great device.

Honestly super impressed. Quality/speed is almost on par with Apple TV. Missing a couple apps but otherwise great for casting and streaming. Much better than a Firestick.

Google site shows that this device requires a TV with High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) 1.3 or higher built-in. So, I was really doubtful whether this will work on my old Sony TV from 2012. However, the device was easily detected by the TV and the remote control also became compatible with my TV. This is a very good product to convert your existing TV to a smart TV. Definitely recommended.

Absolutely awesome hub for all of your apps. Very simple to use and I love the way you can see all available shows across the different apps on one screen. All for just $50.
