The Chromecast with GoogleTV works great. The interface is easy to navigate and signing in to various subscription services was straightforward. Looking forward to seeing more apps be made available for it along with the ability to pair a keyboard.

I really love this - I'm getting one for every smart tv we have. We no longer pay for cable TV, so we get our content from a variety of streaming services. Until I got this, I was the ONLY person in the house who could figure out how to turn on the television; now even beginners can do it. As I try to explain to my mother, you don't have to connect a computer or a tablet or a phone to the Chromecast every time you want to stream something, because it's all inside that tiny box. You only need to log into your (paid) streaming services once. They still don't really understand why it works, but they can use it. (Sigh of relief)

This is a really nice product. I turned my 5 year old projector into a giant smart TV with this dongle. Definitely recommend it because it is very easy to use and fast.

This was a nice surprise. I've been using the Amazon FireTV for a few years now and we've been discussing within the family about a TV upgrade this Thanksgiving. *Luckily* the fireTV remote broke down and this device was almost the same price as the remote so I decided to go for this. The UI is so much better and fresher than FireTV at least, we've decided to skip the TV upgrade this year. Honestly! The tech is amazing as well - I have a FireTV with just the single Amazon remote; so I was pleasantly surprised when I could configure (easily!) the google TV remote for hardware controls as well like volume, power on/off etc.

Really great device that allows me to see all of my paid subscriptions in one screen (Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, etc). Easy to connect. Remote is nice and simple.

I use it mainly to watch YouTube on a secondary TV. I can also steam content stored on my PC with the Plex app which is nice. Seems to work well and I haven't noticed any major bugs or problems. I think it's a solid value. In comparison to my Roku Ultra: The Chromecast has a lot of advertising and channels that they want you to "discover". As opposed to Roku, you can delete all but the channels you want and the ads are less intrusive. Overall, I would recommend a Roku over this to most people unless you really love using Google's voice assistant. The Roku interface is just more intuitive and pleasant to use and you have access to a lot more apps. The Roku remote is also better and some have a headphone jack which is a nice feature. One cool thing about the Chromecast, you can easily take it with you and plug into a TV at a friend's house or on a trip.

Performance is great. Remote is easy to use. I dont like the bloatware on firesticks and this android streaming device eliminates that. Highly recommend!!

I love this streaming device because it allows me to connect all of my apps in one place for easy access and it even controls my tv's power on and off, volume and its extremely easy to use. I would recommend this to anyone trying to figure out which streaming device to pick. Just so you know I'm serious... I will be purchasing another one on Black Friday, so I can get the ultimate deal!!!

I absolutely love this thing. Better than chomecast in my opinion. The remote connects to my tv and soundbar. Very fast with great app.

Must better than the other stick streamer, it's 4k has all the apps I want, easy to use.

The 4 stars is really more like 4.75, because this device is great especially for the price, but a few things missing which would be nice to have: 1) No voice to text when inside an app like Netflix. It’s a feature Apple TV which is super helpful. 2) No multi users support to separate out content. Seems like a no brained especially since you can add more then one account to the device but it doesn’t separate out the content; seems weird. 3) Seems to get a little finicky with my Sonos system where I get no sound and have to reboot the device. All said, for the price, it’s a fantastic buy. Don’t compare it to Apple TV because you can’t. I have both (non-4K 3rd gen Apple TV) and I defer to this device now when watching content because of the 4K. Also, if you have other google devices in your house, it’s a cool addition as they all work in sync.

Easy to set up. There is no lag. I am using it for YT, YT TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime and Plex. Wish that Apple would create Apple TV+ app for Google TV. Highly recommend it.

Ease of use, simple set up. I am technically challenged and this was better than the firestick to me. The interface was simple. Not sure if others feel the same.

Purchased for an older tv which doesn't have a good user interface. The google tv is fast and easy to use. Its nice to have a remote included. Good app selection.

Great for what it is. After using both Google TV and Apple tv, I think apple tv is definitely better and runs smoother, but it's also way more expensive. If you want a cheap steamin device I would say this is the best option or there. Better than roku or Amazon for sure.

I have few of this old generation chrome but this new one is the best. Wow.

I have an older smart TV that doesn't support some of the newer apps, like HBO Max. I had a Chromecast that I would stream my shows, but I didn't like the hassle of going through extra steps just to stream shows from those apps. The Chromecast with Google TV allows me to not only stream supported apps with Chromecast, but the Google TV allows me to access all of my streaming apps in a single pane of glass, as well as recommend shows across all streaming platforms. So easy, so convenient to use. Easily one of my best purchases this year!

Great purchase. Faster and more responsive than built in android TV, Roku or Fire stick. Super easy to setup and use. My only compliant is that huge power button is under the the other buttons and took some getting used to. I have a very expensive smart TV Sony OLED A8H that already had android TV. I received a Philips Hue HDMI sync box for Christmas and needed to run the video through that to get the ambient lighting to work so I needed to get a smart dongle for external input. I had switched from the old chrome cast to Roku years ago for my other TVs but decided to give the new google TV a try.

I have a smart tv and use this for all my streaming services because some of them are not available through my tv. It’s very quick to switch between services.
