The set up was extremely easy. Chromecast makes it so easy to control my TV from a remote or the google home setup. Overall a great experience.

A better smart TV than your Smart TV. Most smart tvs have very inexpensive processors in them and they can be slow to use, and difficult to navigate. The Google TV is super simple to use, and very quick to use. It's very small, and hides behind your TV, and just needs a USB cable for power (you won't be able to use the USB port on your TV, so, it will need to be plugged in... but It comes with a fairly long cable...

Easy to connect and use! The setup is super straightforward and turned a smart TV that was lacking a few features into a fully capable smart TV.

About as simple and straightforward as it gets, but quick, responsive, and intuitive like most Google products. The remote makes it absolutely worth it.

So far I like the device. Haven't had it long enough to fully understand it. Handy for casting from phone and puts all your streaming in one place,so for that, it's pretty cool .

All I wanted was to stream music and see what song is playing on the TV and it does that well. I don't like all the pushing of tv shows and movies on the home screen. You can change a setting so you only see the apps you have installed (Pandora and iHeartReadio for me) but you can't remove the big "ad" at the top of the home screen.

Easy access to many apps. Works well with other google smart devices. Casting from phone or VRheadset is very good.

To me it's the best chromecast yet the remote makes it so much easier to use i dont have to connect my phone to it no more so no more worry about leaving the house and the family not being able to continue watching the program or the family not being able to change what they are watching with out connection of another device with one of my streaming accounts since they are all on the chromecast with TV the Google assistant is a very cool feature ill ask for movies or videos with out need of typing anything I highly recommend it to everyone who uses chromecast older gen its a very big step from old gens.

Perfect but you have to make sure you have a great wifi connection. This has changed the way I watch content. It is as easy as watching on the phone with the remote and google assistant button. In fact its easier since the tapping is eliminated and all I have to do is say what I want and google looks up the best results for me. The design is sleek and hides well. The remote is durable even after 100 drops and bites from my dog. It is worth it investing a strong wifi to support this in the room you are using it in. I may as we delete the streaming apps on my phone and just watch on the tv.

These devices offer such speed and flexibility that I was hoping to gain after cutting cable and switching to stream-only. Much quicker than most smartTV’s OS, the response time of this little device is quite impressive. You do have to connect to out or powered USB-A, which is annoying in some TV placements that don’t have hidden power, but I still give it 5-stars

Very pleased with how easy this Google Chromecast is to setup. Remote is very intuitive and a great feature over other streaming devices.

Installation is a breeze. Picture quality is great. Ease of use is great. Hides behind the TV. Enjoying this device.

I own like a handful of these. Quite the upgrade from the older models..remote is clutch.

Pretty good streaming stick. Works better if you have an android phone/tablet. Not as good as an Apple TV, but for the price I’d say this is more worth it

I have used (and still own) multiple media adaptors including apple TV, Roku and Fire TV. Have recently switched to chromecast and love it so far. Menu is very easy to navigate. Movie/series recommendations are great. App store has everything you are looking for. Remote has an easier grip and is easier to use, compared to apple TV remote. My only wish was a rechargeable battery for the remote. That was a good feature of Apple TV. You also don't see as many deals as fire TV and Roku.

The new Home Screen is awesome! Brings Chromecast up to speed with other streaming sticks like Fire Stick and Apple TV. Little glitchy but very fast and easy to use.

I've tried Firesticks and was currently using a Roku. Thought I would give the Chromecast a shot. Definitely the best of the 3 in my opinion. Having a suggestion screen that shows what I CAN watch based upon my existing apps is great. The search by voice works well, quick netflix & youtube buttons come in more handy then I thought. I already had a Nest Mini and I like being able to turn on the TV, control it from that kitchen speaker...even if it's just to mess with the kids, haha.

If you live in the Android ecosystem and watch a lot of content from multiple sources, then this device is a no brainer. It's really awesome to have everyting you want in one place. Just make sure you have a 4K TV so you get the most out of the Chromecast. I also suggest getting a silicone cover for the controller because that little thing is slippery.
