Plugging the power into an external plug other than the TV itself and being able to turn the TV on and off with your voice is great, though you'll need another Nest speaker for that. I wish it had more storage capacity and processing power because it can get a little laggy. It would also be nice to have something to help you find the remote if the couch swallows it.

The internal storage capacity of the Chromecast with Google TV is 8gb, and while adding external storage or Secure Digital (SD) card to load content isn’t supported, there are more than 10,000 apps that you can use on Google TV. You can visit tv.google to view which apps are available, and learn how to install the apps here: https://support.google.com/googletv/answer/10050570
If there are issues with performance of your Chromecast, we suggest clearing the app cache that might help as having a sizable amount of cache stored, would affect its performance. See the steps below:
- From the Google TV home screen, in the top right, go to the user profile icon and select Settings.
- Select Apps and choose the app you're having trouble with.
- If you can't find it, select See all apps.
- Select Clear cache and then Ok.
- If clearing the app cache didn't work, you can try to reset your Chromecast with Google TV by following this step by step guide here: https://support.google.com/chromecast/answer/6254654

It's responsive, simple to setup and use, and most importantly, the parental controls leave an array of options to monitor and restrict what the kids can access. Also, this thing is compatible with Bluetooth headphones/earbuds. Highly recommended device!

Best part about this is that you can take it with you anywhere as long as you have a HDMI PORT. Plus l can connect all my apps in one place.

Now all the stuttering and buffering is gone! Plus I was able to set it up with Alexa voice control so now I can just yell at Alexa to turn on Netflix / Hulu / DirecTV and it all just works!
