Fast, superior picture, very easy and intuitive to operate

I LOVE this! it is extremely easy to set up and use. I had a 2016 model which I hated, I only used it for a few months. I had to change my Wi-Fi network and it was a nightmare to reset. Funny enough, this happened to me again last week. This new version is amazingly easy to reset! You can purchase a version without the voice remote but I highly recommend you invest the extra $10 and get it, it’s awesome. I will definitely recommend this product.

The best budget streaming device money can buy. Virtually every streaming service is available on it. Easy to use and the remote works flawlessly.

Easy to setup. Can control tv volume too. Can cast from phone, laptop etc as well. Fast and simple. Has various media applications.

This Chromecast is much better than the old one. The new remote is elegant and the interface is really attractive. I am a google fan, I was waiting for this.

Finally the chromecast uses a interface and it’s beautiful layout and user friendly. Very affordable and reasonable price point can’t go wrong with it.

So far so good. The remote brings the experience to another level, and the voice control is accurate... also has fast response and lots off apps.

As an early adopter of UHD, before the ratification of HDMI 2.1 and HDCP 2.2 on every HDMI interface, my screen's performance was great but the SmartOS is no longer supported. Chromecast w/ Google TV 4K, problem solved. While the native SmartOS is no longer supported, the 4K Chromecast has brought new life to a high quality 4K UHD set. I'm using the 1 HDCP 2.2 port for Chromecast and the Deep Color HDMI port for my PS4 Pro.

Easy to set up and use. Having a remote is great. Casting from your phone is very easy.

Cut the cord over a year ago and have been streaming a limited number of television programs from my desktop computer to an earlier version of Chromecast. However, now that I have upgraded to this model, I have greatly expanded the content of what I can watch due to no longer being confined to the computer and it allowing me to download and store apps on my actual television, which is not the latest version of a smart TV. Additionally, having a remote to control it verses my computer mouse is like having cable television without the exorbitant cost.

All I can say is WOW! I tried the "FireCube" from Amazon and was spectacularly disappointed. Then I bought the CHROMECAST. And WOW, It works beautifully. It does not Buffer. It's remote can be voice activated. It controls my SONY 4K tv as well. It allowed me to load the APPS I wanted. APP SURFING if that is a thing,is quick. This thing just plain works FLAWLESSLY. The only drawback is the size and shape of the remote. It is extra small which can be difficult for big hands like mine. And it slips between sofa cushions instantly. I highly recommend this over Roku and Firecube.

Major improvement to TV experience: allows me to avoid the Android interface on Hisense TV (which is unbearable). This version of the chromecast has really outdone its previous versions. It is quick, snappy, and has built in microphone to give 'Hey Google' cues (excellent for movie time, dimming lights, turning them back on etc).. Also makes searching a particular movie/tv show title a snap. Having the Chromecast linked to google home allows me to turn on/off the TV; it can even launch Netflix/Spotify directly from an OFF state via voice command.

Easy setup & Clean interface. Much simpler than the fire tv stick.

Awesome piece of entertainment tech. I don't understand why someone who choose a 200 dollar Apple TV over this (usually 50 dollar) item that does the same thing (with a very nice user interface)! It aggregates all the sources for shows (Disney+, Netflix, Prime, Hulu, etc) and shows everything you're subscribed to at a glance: what you've seen, what's on your watchlist, etc. It's awesome. Highly recommended. Wish they were built into modern TVs and not Android TV (which is apparently different).

This is a great streamer. Easy to use. Think of it as an Nvidia Shield Lite. I'd get this over a Roku or Firestick anyday, (I've got all of the above)
