There are multiple ways for me to access my subscription services like Netflix including my cable box, gaming system, and tv, but the apps run much faster and smoother through the chromecast. I also like how I pressing any button on the remote will take me directly to the homepage (automatically switches input), and controls my tv volume. This prevents me from having to hold 2 remotes in my hand. As I mentioned, this product was mostly a "nice to have" since I could access my subscriptions and screen share through my tv's OS, but everything runs much faster and stable through my chromecast. I would definitely buy again.

Using the remote for Android TV is so convenient. Who knew going back to remote from using the phone to cast would be the preferred way but it is.

Set up was simple & straightforward and the remote is a definite added bonus. My one complaint is that it is a MAJOR DATA HOG. The amount of gigs it used after watching just 4 episodes of Saved By Wolves was ridiculous. Even while technically off it still gobbled up date like crazy. So now if I'm not using it I unplug it and thats why I only gave it 2 stars.

I have had them since Gen1 models. A breeze to cast to from the phone. And connects to most digital services. Not to mention from your computer!

It won't allow you to use Xfinity Stream or the live streaming app for Spectrum Cable. If that isn't a problem for you, you'll really like this. I have no other problems with it.

Chromecast with Google TV has access to more than 6,500 apps that you can download from Google Play Store. You'll be able to watch from video apps that are downloaded to the device, or video apps that are on your phone or tablet. Xfinity Stream is not on the list of apps you can download to your Google TV, but you can cast your screen to your TV while watching Xfinity Stream. If you're using an Android device, you can even mirror your screen to your TV over Chromecast while watching the app. Please note that Chromecast doesn't support screen mirroring for iOS devices. Unfortunately, the Spectrum TV app is not on the list of partner apps for Chromecast with Google TV. Chromecast can’t be used as a Spectrum receiver to access Spectrum business TV programming. A best streaming device

Because its remote have learn feature so I control my tv and sound bar with it.
