Google Chromecast AP

Was simple to do and works exactly like it's supposed to!

The one thing I DONT LIKE is that Google Play Movies does not show up as an app, which is a bit stupid considering Apple TV is an app. You have to use the Google Assistant and request Open Google Play Movies. That takes you back to the old user interface the Google Nexus player had.

It's very difficult to get my device to stream to this. I love that I can use Disney plus on voice command, but it does not play automatically; I still have to get the remote to select the user or profile. It's a little annoying, but it's ok overall. I'll eventually take the time to figure out all the settings. The volume keys don't always work either.

Thanks for sharing your experience with us. We're sorry to hear of your difficulty streaming content using Chromecast with Google TV.
Your Chromecast with Google TV was intended to play 4K video content with your favorite streaming sites. But this requires a higher Internet bandwidth and we recommend a minimum speed of 20 Mbps connection or higher.
Resetting your Chromecast to factory default settings may also fix the issue. You may try out the steps here:
With the Chromecast Voice Remote:
- In the upper right of your TV screen, select your profile and then Settings.
- Select System and then About and then Factory Reset.
From the Chromecast device.
- While the Chromecast is plugged into the TV and powered, press and hold the button on the back of the Chromecast. The LED will start blinking yellow.
- When the LED light turns solid white, release the button and the Chromecast will then reset.
