The platform allows you to watch all of your streaming services in one place. I love the mic feature it saves me from having to look for what I am trying to watch.

Outdated software can sometimes lead to unexpected behavior. You can check for updates by going to Settings > System > About > System update. If an update is available, install it and see if the issue persists.""
In addition, some Chromecast models have an inactivity timer that can turn off the device after a period of no activity. If your model has this setting, you can try disabling it. This option might be located under Settings > Developer options > Stay awake. However, please note that disabling this feature may increase power consumption.""
Also, a weak or unstable Wi-Fi connection can sometimes cause casting interruptions. Try restarting your router and Chromecast to see if it improves the stability. You can also check your internet speed using an online speed test.""

4K chromecast

I will say the 4K quality is impeccable!

Having a controller available, and not needing to worry about casting each video individually with a phone really make this feel like an eventual cable box replacement.

Shows you content from all different streaming services on one home screen. I also bought the ethernet adaptor which it doesn’t come with but has definitely improved the connection.

Yes please! Great little device. Only downside is WiFi only. But they do offer an adapter if you need it. Sold separately.

It makes casting to your TV very simple. I'm not crazy about the form factor of the controller which is too slippery, but definitely not a show stopper.

Set up took a little while, but was not difficult.
