Posted .Hi Cookinglvl99, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to learn that you’re having connectivity issues with your Chromecast with Google TV.
You can try these steps and see if it'll resolve the issue:
- Reboot Chromecast by unplugging it from the power source for about 2 mins. Disconnect from power source not from TV's HDMI port)
- Reboot router to refresh the connection.
- If reboot doesn't resolve the issue, perform a factory reset. Keep in mind that when you perform a factory reset, all info or data on your Chromecast will be deleted and you'll have to re-setup after. A Meh Streaming Stick

I've had Roku, Firestick, Chromecast, and now this and at 60hz it's ok as long as your tv is at 60hz. It doesn't show continued watching for Prime and Hulu shows and they haven't come up with a fix for that since the release date. Will be going back to the built-in apps for my LG CX until they improve it.
