    Even though I have smart TV, I wanted to try an android. This is super cool, even my kid can do voice search his fav cartoons and youtube vidoes.

    Nice device! Great quality video and audio! Added bonus is bluetooth audio capability at a low price for using headphones! Only issue is that home screen takes a bit to load up! Otherwise great device for price!

      - Check the OS version of your mobile phone device. We recommend the following versions:
      Android phone or tablet with Android 8.0 or later, and iPhone or iPad with iOS 14.0 or later versions.
      - Try updating the Google Home app by going to the Google Play Store and searching for the Home app. Once you find it, tap on Update.
      - Try installing the Google Home app, using the same account, on another mobile phone or tablet device, and see if you will experience the same slow loading time.
      - If you don't experience the same issue with another device, we recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the Google Home app on the main mobile phone device.

    Next gen Chromecast with really good video output. The google tv is so good, that i dont even cast to it anymore, i just use the built in apps.

      We could be looking at a connectivity issue caused by several reasons such as Wi-Fi network congestion, distance of the device from the router, wireless interference with other Wi-Fi hotspots or devices nearby and outdated router firmware.

      Also, if your device is randomly disconnecting from your Wi-Fi network, we recommend performing a factory reset. Here's how to do it:
      With the Chromecast Voice Remote:
      - In the upper right of your TV screen, select your profile and then Settings.
      - Select System and then About and then Factory Reset.
      From the Chromecast device:
      - While the Chromecast is plugged into the TV and powered, press and hold the button on the back of the Chromecast. The LED will start blinking yellow.
      - When the LED light turns solid white, release the button and the Chromecast will then reset.

    I very happily replaced my firestick with this today. I love the color and features. Buttons on the remote work with my Samsung TV. With the input button it makes it way easier to have just one remote again.

    The design for browsing is poor, very hard to navigate compare to roku. The search function is unable to return meaning/ useful result, most of the time it will return result from YouTube or it will tell you it doesn’t understand what you mean. Even when I am browsing apps one by one from the app store, there is very limited available apps with little information. Respond is slow maybe because this is a 2020 product? Do not buy this! I can tell that Google doesn’t care about this product line anymore it doesn’t worth your money.

      Hi Pzilla, it's great to hear that your Chromecast with Google TV works well. We are sorry to hear about the signal loss you are experiencing with it.

      Signal loss may be affected by a few factors, including possible congestion or interference with your Wi-Fi network. We recommend trying out some steps below:
      - Make sure your mobile devices and Chromecast are on the same WiFi network.
      - Check for congestion by removing some of your connected devices.
      - If your router supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, make sure your Chromecast is on the 5 GHz network.
      - Move your Chromecast further away from the back or side of your TV, and make sure it is not touching other devices, wires or cables. These devices may cause Wi-Fi or Bluetooth interference.
      - Try using an Ethernet adapter to connect your Chromecast to your router. This will give you a direct, hardwire connection to the internet and will alleviate your home Wi-Fi network.

    Easy to connect and use. Remote is very small and cute. Bigger hands may not like it but you can very well use your tv remote to access.

    Worst then the older chromecast ultra...the old chromecast ultra...you can change the volume simply by using the volume button on your phone...this new chromecast 4k...you cant.

    Turn your old hdmi without wifi tv into a smart tv. Works well. Even turned my non arc hdmi into an arc, some how, allowing for 1 button turn off of chromecast device, sound bar and tv

    You can't play the sound of the Chromecast in a Google nest. That doesn't make sense to me both are devices from Google, should not be that hard.

You may get it to work a few times, but we can't guarantee that it will always pair successfully.     I regret this. I should have bought a Firestick. Shortly after purchasing, it got discontinued. There are still several bugs. Not buying any more Google stresming devices. None of the older ones are supported anymore either.
