    Not quite the solution for streaming NBA League Pass to my Samsung TV. The throughput is not enough where the video stream kept buffering.

      Performing a factory reset on your Chromecast device may be helpful in fixing the issue. Here's a step by step guide on how you can do it:
      - While the Chromecast is plugged into the TV, hold down the button on the side.
      - The LED will begin blinking orange.
      - When the LED light turns white, release the button and the Chromecast will begin the reboot sequence.

      We also suggest making sure your Chromecast is not further away than 15-20 feet from your router, your phone and Chromecast are on the same network, and your network isn't congested since connection may drop if there is not enough bandwidth on the network.

    Great if you dont plan to cast or play stadia. Home refuses to find it. Going to warranty exchange it to see if ultra number 2 is better.

      Oops! We´re sorry to hear that your Home refuses to find Chromecast with Google TV. We understand how disappointing it can be when something doesn't work as you expect them to.

      If you haven't returned your Chromecast yet, and want to troubleshoot the issue, you can try performing a power cycle on your Chromecast and Wi-Fi router to refresh the connection:
      - Unplug Chromecast and router from their power source.
      - Leave them unplugged for one minute before plugging them back in.

      If you're still experiencing the issue after doing the steps above, perform a factory reset on your Chromecast with Google TV, then re-setup.
      With the Chromecast Voice Remote:
      1. In the upper right of your TV screen, select your profile and then Settings.
      2. Select System and then About and then Factory Reset.
      From the Chromecast device:
      1. While the Chromecast is plugged into the TV and powered, press and hold the button on the back of the Chromecast. The LED will start blinking yellow.
      2. When the LED light turns solid white, release the button and the Chromecast will then reset.

    The item was defective and did not work with our tv. We sent it back. Haven’t received the new one yet. Otherwise must be good!

    Junk so many issues

    Have had this since 01/2021, it's been plagued with various issues, CEC remote works sometimes meaning volume control, device on/off. Other issues include surround sound not being sent to TV/Soundbar (stereo all the time, yes surround turned on), no sound, picture is black, no picture or pixelated. In most cases I have to always reboot and reboot. This item is now sitting in my junk drawer.

For video quality, we recommend checking and/or changing the video settings to HDMI 2.0. As for the audio, the Chromecast supports Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Atmos and should be able to provide you the surround sound as long as the TV, internet speed and the content itself supports it.     Setup is Bananas Difficult

    This is by far, and with no exaggeration, the most arduous and annoying setup process I’ve ever been through on any device I’ve ever owned, analog or digital. There’s just tons of issues with getting it to recognize the wireless network. I can’t even vouch for the features yet. Ultimately, I will most likely end up sending it back. The remote is also shaped funny so that it constantly drops out of your hand. Not sure whose idea that was.

      While you can connect different Bluetooth devices, like headphones or game controllers, to your Chromecast with Google TV, you can only connect one audio device at a time. If your bluetooth devices won’t connect, we suggest the following steps that might help:
      - Turn off the Bluetooth device and then turn it back on. After the reboot, try pairing again.
      - If you have other Bluetooth devices paired with your Chromecast with Google TV, try to disconnect them.

    Very hard to get this working and keep it working. Very finicky about WiFi signal. Better off getting a smart tv.

    We might have a defective product. But ours constantly pauses and kicks us out of what we are watching. Seems like it has serious potential, so will be exchanging in hopes that ours was faulty. Will update

    I took the product back one day after I purchased the product. The wi-fi connection to my tv and modem was inconsistent. It worked for about 10 minutes then it stopped working. I could not get live tv through mlbtv.com, and other channels, such as nba.com. I hope that they make upgrade with this product because it will be a waste for the google brand, since they are an outstanding tech company.
