Not woking

If you're willing, we recommend resetting your Chromecast and Voice Remote to help fix the issue. You may follow the steps below to perform the reset.
With the Chromecast Voice Remote:
- In the upper right of your TV screen, select your profile and then Settings .
- Select System and then About and then Factory Reset.
From the Chromecast device:
- While the Chromecast is plugged into the TV and powered, press and hold the button on the back of the Chromecast. The LED will start blinking yellow.
- When the LED light turns solid white, release the button and the Chromecast will then reset.

Your Chromecast with Google TV was designed to provide you with a smooth experience. We recommend trying out some helpful steps below:
- Ensure that your Chromecast is connected to your 5 GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Remove other connected devices on your Wi-Fi network and see if you will still encounter the same issue. Should you verify congestion, then we recommend contacting your internet service provider for resolution.
- We recommend a Wi-Fi network with 25 Mbps download speed that can ensure smooth 4K experience.
- If it does not work, you may try restarting your Chromecast by going to Settings > System > Restart.
- If it's still unresolved, perform a factory reset on the Chromecast with Google TV.
a. While the Chromecast is plugged into the TV, hold down the button on the Chromecast device for at least 25 seconds or until the solid LED light turns into a flashing red light.
b. Once the LED light turns blinking white and the TV goes blank, release the button. The Chromecast device will begin the reboot sequence.

For the best performance, your Chromecast will typically require a high speed Internet connection of at least 20 Mbps and a reliable Wi-Fi network. We recommend checking if your current Internet bandwidth is possibly congested, or that it may not be enough to enable the best viewing experience with Chromecast. Removing some of your connected devices to free up some bandwidth space, and trying out Chromecast will help verify the issue. If you verify congestion, we suggest contacting your Internet service provider to check your connection and upgrade it if needed.

Great device

Im glad I held off from getting a 3rd or chromecast ultra. The interface is easy to use, the speed when entering apps excellent, and casting from device to chromecast is stable. The only con I would say is that it doesn't show what app you were using previously and what exactly what you were doing if you back out to the home screen.

Couldn't get standard apps.

Chromecast with Google TV has access to more than 6,500 apps that you can download directly from your device. Visit tv.google to view which apps are available and learn how to install the apps here: https://support.google.com/googletv/answer/10050570
While YouTube and YouTube TV will be signed in to your Google account, for other apps, you will likely have to sign in. Check this step by step guide on how to link your subscription services with your Chromecast with Google TV.
- Open your Google Home app.
- At the top left, tap the plus sign.
- Under “Manage services,” tap Video or Live TV.
- Find the services that you want to link to.
- To finish, follow the on-screen instructions.

The Wi-Fi disconnection issue may be related either of the following issues:
- Possible congestion in your network. Chromecast requires a high speed Internet connection of at least 20 Mbps. Removing some of your connected devices may help free up some bandwidth space.
- Signal interference caused by the thick walls of your home, electrical appliances, or opposing Wi-Fi signal from your neighbors network. Placing your Chromecast with Google TV in a straight line of sight with your router may improve connectivity.
If the disconnection issue is persistent, even after isolating with the steps we provided, then we may need to take a much closer look at your Chromecast and see how we can improve your experience.
