Great device to have most of your media in one place if you didn't already. I have a simple (non smart tv) and this is so much easier than logging into each service on the phone and casting it. Now all the service accounts reside on the device and can be accessed. Netflix, youtube, Crackle, Hulu, Disney +, etc.

It's a great device, I recommend it to everyone. I have tried firestick and mistick before, this is better than all of them.

Purchased this item when we started streaming. It is great, we like the feature where we can talk into the remote and search for a movie or television show.

There's a lot to like here but Google's engineered some critical flaws. So the user interface is nice. Pretty easy to use, though it's a little over engineered and a little busy, but it's at least advertisement free, something that ruins Samsung's smart TVs. The remote itself has a very cheap feel, matte brittle plastic that feels too light. The biggest issue I have is this was made for personal use only, it cannot be shared by a couple or family. It allows you to add more than one account, but you can't switch to the other account easily like the YouTube and YouTube TV interface work on most smart or Android TVs. You have to completely sign out of and have the other person sign in. Very terrible design. To use this for a family, you'd have to buy three units and have three HDMIs available. If you're single this is a great value, for a family though it's either expensive to by X3 units for each TV in the house or you'll be stuck with everyone spending five signing in and out everytime you switch users. Hardware has a slight lag-time to it but nothing too bad, especially at this price point.

Was tired of the spotty HDMI CEC implementation on my Mibox's (3 and 4) and after seeing how seamless it was to control other devices with this Chromecast, I had to get a few more for the other TV's in my house. Despite relatively similar specs between the two, the UI actually feels much more fluid with this Chromecast as well.

Great product for streaming, once you sign with your Google account you can download all of your accounts and apps just like an iPad. Loved it.

Excellent product, small size and great performance

I use this . LG UP8000. I don't like Webos and Google TV is much better. Easy to set up and all the apps I need can be installed. It also supports 5G wireless while the LG TV does not. LG is only 2.4

This is an easy to use and great addition to the Google family of products. After 'struggling' with smart tvs connections and limited options I got this as an easy way to upgrade without the major expense.

Needed a device to extend streaming options in a spare bedroom without buying a new TV. Perfect option.

Great value. Update received on a Lg smart tv over 5 years old and now feels like new with this speed and sound/video quality. Eaaier access to my streaming, too.

Honestly nothing to complain about. Love the remote! Only thing I could complain about is losing the remote but that’s user error! Solid works great!

Works great, so good I bought another one for another television easy to set up

I wanted to be able to cast to a non smart tv and it works perfectly.

Easy setup. Nice menu, and overview on the start screen. I live in Denmark, and have so far been able to find apps for all my streaming services.

The 4K Chromecast is good. I love the software and ease of use. I hope Google one day make a more premium model with a snappier interface. Overall it's great for its value.
