I bought this so I could watch Spectrum cable on my Insignia Fire TV. I still can't load the Spectrum app, but I can start Spectrum on my Visible phone and then "cast" it to the TV. The phone is the n the controller. Not what I planned, but I'm glad I had the android phone and it works.

Fantastic device for streaming, easy to understand UI, quick and responsive remote control.

I am very pleased with this product. I was looking for an inexpensive way to upgrade an older model Sony television that does not have access to apps such as Hulu, Disney Plus, Google Play, YouTube, etc. and this one is perfect - easy navigation, access, app selection, and an uncomplicated remote. Great functionality with a low price.

I've owned Chromecast devices since the original, and this one is indeed the Ultra. Easy to set up, easy to operate, reliable. My only complaint is Google is forcing two shortcut buttons on me -- YouTube and Netflix -- and not allowing me to reprogram them. I can access YouTube elsewhere in the Chromecast apps, and I will never subscribe to Netflix again, after their "Cuties" debacle and their Susan Rice board member and Obama relationship. But if you don't have a smart TV that essentially renders the Chromecast Ultra moot, this is worth the $$$.

Works great tons of apps very easy to use and having the remote is a plus

This is a beautifully upgraded version of the traditional Chromecast. The voice control remote help to launch all the programs and TV shows easily without going on typing old fashioned on the display keyboard. The Chromecast also now helps you to customize the apps and can be installed on it.

Love it for the Google ecosystem. I was initially looking for an original Chromecast (without the Roku-like interface). However, this has been more than pleasurable to work with and stream with, and I would recommend it if looking into devices for streaming from android mobile devices.

the new Google Chromecast with Google TV 4K has really updated my 5 year old Samsung smart TV.. without me having to buy a new one! No longer have to cast PBS and other apps that weren't available to our older TV because the Home screen allows you to access loads of apps that include PBS, Hoopla (free from our public library) as well as some national network stations. Very pleased with our new tech gadget!

Best product ever by google. Works like a charm and converts your dumb TV to a google TV. Only down side is the remote. Wish it had extra buttons for Play/Pause/Forward/Reverse along the navigation wheel as some of the apps wouldn't recognize the navigation wheel left/right buttons as FWD/Reverse buttons.

Replaced an aging Roku with this. Much smoother, 4k, and the remote is great for only $50.

I really love this streamer. So much so that this my 2nd one. This one goes in my TCL Roku tv and works great. I got it to control everything my roku remote did. However, my first one went in my TCL Android TV. For some weird reason, i get worse integration. I still have to use the OEM remote to controll volume and power from my bed, but the google tv remote can power itself off and change channels from that distance. Up close, it works with tv power and sound too.

Works well. Better than slow apps on an old TV. We got this because Youtube TV 4K requires you to set your home wifi. Since this is a new setting and requirement it's only available on smart TVs, i.e. Android Smart TVs. We only have Roku and Apple TV's so we picked this up so that we could make that setting change. Worked easy. But now that we have it we rather enjoy it. Helps make an old smart more up to date. Remote is decent, some of the buttons I wish were different, but just because I'm used to the Roku remotes. They don't have a play/pause button so you have to hit the center enter button. That took a little getting use to.

This thing is almost the best streaming device there is. If you take the price into concideration it is the best. If price isn't an issue the Nvidia Shield is better for people with a 4K TV 55" or larger because of the AI upscaling. I saw the above as someone that has almost every device. I have an Amazon 4K Fire Stick, Roku Ultra, Chromecast Ultra, 2019 Nvidia Shield (Tube), Roku TV, and many more.

It is a great option not only to become smart your old TV but also to replace your tv interface, smooth, easy to use and it has the 4K resolution
