This product is nice for portability and remote if just using installed apps. Autosetup failed 5 times before i gave up and did manually. Buggy with BT headphones could not get it to connect after pairing tried 5 times, opencoms, never had issue connecting these to anything. Boseflex connected fine so did keyboard. Ineternet drop many times when trying to cast my screen from zfold3, the casting would constantly drop. Googlehome would show it as off even thow it was on. Never had issues with this on original chromecast. Casting apps from phone slow and glitchy. Not sure if new update has a bugs, but this is simply toomany bugs at once. If not casting from phone or using BT headphones it will prob be fine for most. Very portable stable with built in apps and nice remote. But very lacking and buggy with extended functions. Will be returning. I think i may just shell out the money for Shield TV not as portable but works flawlessy.

The Chromecast with Google TV is the perfect way to make an old TV a new one. I bought one for my other and he was instantly connect to online apps such as Disney+, Prime, Hulu etc. It is easy to use which is great because by brother can get frustrated.

Works as expected. Easy to use. Easy to set up. Would buy again.

Awesome picture quality os is easy to use great buy for me

We have 5 TV's in our house, and all but one of them are smart TV's. This clever little device turned that TV into a smart TV. All the most popular streaming apps like Hulu, Netflix, Disney+, etc. are available through Google TV. Also casts shows, videos, etc. to your TV like a traditional chromecast. Wish we had gotten it sooner.

I got this because webOS wasn't doing it for me (hbo max). Plus the Google tv interface is so much better than webOS. If you have an LG TV, get this! You do have to go into display settings and switch on "match content". Because if you don't, all the apps will be in dolby vision and the content will be overblown when it comes to the picture.

Faster and easier to use than Amazon fire stick. The aggregated continue watching menu from all services is glorious. The google voice search for content actually works.

It's worth it way better than a Roku. So far I have one in the living room and one in my bedroom they work perfectly. The remote doubles as a TV remote or soundbar remote as well. If you have Bluetooth headphones you can connect it to the device for private listening which is awesome and works well. The same can be done with your Google Home speakers.

Love the remote, it makes surfing my streaming subscriptions and YT a breeze. Wish I had a better TV paired with this. Maybe I will upgrade that soon.

Easy to install. Could use a different method setting up accounts. Using remote to set up accounts frustrating, remote control is small for big hands.using caps you have to go back to key for each capital letter in User Id or password . Once it's set up and getting use to remote it works great.

The streaming device that gets giving you just your apps at a glance or all the content that you might like, RIGHT! I didn't have much luck with the Roku layout and the Fire Stick was so proud of it own products it didn't leave room for much else. While I do love my YouTube TV (YT TV) it's far better on the Google TV platform (the best DVR out there too!). At first I wasn't a fan of this device because it was turning off with the TV all the time and literally took over a minute and half to start up. But updates and settings have changed that and it's ready on when the TV fires up. They also just put out an update that allows you to change the dedicated YT button to YT TV which is even more useful for those of us with it! The Google assistant is really good at pulling up proper content and showing you how you can watch it. While I gave it 5 stars I will say I am not 100% sold on the design of the remote. It's slippery and all the buttons are raised up off the body of the remote which makes it easy to accidently hit any and all of the buttons!! Our dog has become a professional channel surfer ... with that being said I am also sure a $5 silicon cover will 100% solve these issues when some Chinese company finally sells them ...

This works best with You Tube TV. You can easily access all the You Tube TV channels. The interface is great. You can also access all the other streaming services you might be subscribing to.

These devices have a snappy response and are easy to use. It synced with my existing google accounts and I had it working within an hour.

Love google products. The Chromecast has a great interface. Sometimes it lags a Little.

Easy to set-up and use, smart remote and good Wi-Fi reception

Google TV is the best way to watch all your streaming subscriptions yet! The parental controls are pretty awesome, you can create a profile for each child and set up only the apps you want them to access. Plus you can set a bedtime timer. Has been flawless, fats and smooth through all the menus and switching between services.

Easy to use. Glad I made the purchase. Great for taking on trips to hotels that have smart TVs.
