The new Chromecast with Google TV is a good streaming device. All services work well. The remote is functional. The only issue it has - the Samsung TV doesn't allow to pass through the Dolby Digital 5.1 signal from the Chromecast to the soundbar. Other streamers, like Apple TV 4k and Amazon Fire Stick 4k don't have this issue on my Samsung TV.

Just converted an old lcd tv in smart with this decive. Great for streaming and the google assistant is great. The control also controlled the tv no need to purchase another controller

I used my Chromecast to play COD Warzone mobile on my big TV. So I killed the motherboard on my desktop computer, and needed a cure for my information deprivation and gaming deprivation while a new one was being shipped. Chromecast to the rescue. I linked my old Samsung Galaxy S9+ to the Chromecast with screem sync, linked an xbox controller to the S9, and downloaded COD Warzone. No, it's not perfect, but it works fine, and helps us "blind" people to see the enemies on a big screen. And yes, all my movie accounts worked fine too.

We have the other generations of this and fire tv. This chromecast by far is has the best quality and fast. We tried to use the hub on our Samsung TV to stream apps but is to slow and just not a great experience. A must but for any tv for the price.

Great product for streaming and casting onto your tv. Would of gave it 5 stars if I could download the Spectrum Tv app which was why I bought it for. I was under the impression I could do so after googlin it. Other then that I am satisfied with the speed and it’s features. A step up from the old tv I have in the room

GREAT PRICE FOR WHAT YOU GET! I'd like to see it in black. But its hidden for most set ups so no big deal. Beats firestick, and cube! Great for older TVs! I have a new Samsung TV and I still use this product. All of your apps and streaming in one place!

New chromecast now has a remote and YouTubeTV (GoogleTV). Easy setup and connection. Includes Dolby Vision. New layout resembles Netflix/Roku hybrid. I had the older one; the new one is better plus it now Has A Remote so overall a good upgrade

Love the upgrade to the chromecast. I have an older tv without the smart tv features but it’s a great screen and I don’t want to replace it, this makes everything so much easier

Hesitant at first because roku and fire stick were let downs but this thing is awesome. Extremely responsive. Easy to install and very user friendly. My only issue is the lack of texture on the remote. Its very slippery. It went flying across the livingroom. Would be 5 stars if the remote wasn't like a bar of soap

Bought this so I could use a VPN which I couldn't do on my Roku (a big FU to MLB.TV). It can be a little slow loading apps and especially after hitting the home button from an app. I also wish there were more than 4GB of usable storage. Overall I still prefer my Roku to Google TV

The good: The GUI layout is more refined than Roku or Apple TV. The available apps are more or less on par with Apple TV and Roku (i.e. you get HBO max but no Nick Jr). The interconnectivity of this device and other google/nest products is nice. Google assistant works as expected. Remote has a mute button. The bad: The lack of multiple individual profiles on a new device/system is completely unacceptable. Hopefully this will be resolved in a update. The device can be somewhat laggy at times. No ethernet connectivity. No Wifi 6 radios. Some apps seem to misbehave (History channel app). I suspect this shall be fixed in a later update. Good or bad: The system/device is very youtube centric (bad for me because I don't use or care for youtube).

I bought this device for my parents, and it's amazing! They have different languages that you can choose in the settings, and the best part is that the voice command worked well with it even in different languages.

Works flawlessly, just as it should. Setup is easy and straightforward. Only complaint is I wish remote was a tad bigger to make it easier to hold and I wish Volume controls were on the top, not the side, otherwise very pleased

This made it very easy to cast from my Android phone to the Chromecast that I plugged into a BenQ projector.

Initially I bought one from Google and I love the interface so much I decided to purchase a second Chromecast. In my opinion, this device out beats the Firestick.

Purchased it for an older TV that does not get updates on Support. It has worked well since day one. The remote premium and good to hold. Setting it up with the Google app was extremely easy. I will definitely be gifting a few of these for the holidays

I have tried Roku , fire stick and now this and by far this is my favorite. It so user friendly. I love it so much I bought one for my sister.

Great piece of equipment. We loved our Roku Streaming Stick+, but since we recently got rid of traditional cable and went with YouTubeTV, the Roku did not interface well (it does not have a YTTV app). The Chromecast is definitely quicker and more responsive than Roku and the user experience is far better and more intuitive; the fact that all of our streaming services, 'continue watching' list, suggestions and recommendations and other information is all on one screen is very convenient. Live TV is easy to navigate and the voice remote means anyone can find what they're looking for (such as someone house-sitting for you). Setup with our TV controls was easy, as well as logging into all of our accounts and streaming services via our cell phones and Google accounts.

I love the remote for this. It's so nice and aesthetically pleasing. Google TV interface does get some getting used to, but I like it. The only issue is that it lags, like it feels like the dongle is just not powerful enough to render the ui. But when you're watching content it's fine.
