Bought a year ago, so far no problem at all. Very good picture with fast reaction.

The UI is really nice but there is a lot of glitchiness and its a little more difficult to cast directly from your phone. Its more of a firestik/Roku than a traditional chomecast. My old chromecast was gettung old so it was frequently shutting off. This chromecast will also randomly bave the sceen turn pink, which forces you to turn it off and on. Theres a lot of updates that will need to be implemented if we are being honest but its a great solution to most media needs. Ive even streamed steam link to the Chromecast, which works great on games like Stray or Bioshock but isnt bery great with fast paced games (Rocket League, Sekiro).

Hands down the best streaming service device on the market. Fast and easy to set up. And the casting oh man, i cast just about anything that can be casted.

Love this product makes streaming very easy convenient also provide additional channels not provided by other streaming devices

Addresses all of the shortcoming of the previous generation of chromecasts now that it supports apps, has a remote, and let's you connect bluetooth headphones directly. I just wish it had an ethernet port directly on the unit instead of having to source one that also has power delivery.

All i can say is you need this. Get rid of your cabled tv. The remote syncs with almost anything and with its speak to search makes it the best.

I had the original, then went to the fire sticks, now back to this one. So much faster control and more options and pairs with google home much easier.

Amazing product. I've been waiting a very long time for Google to put a physical remote in with the chrome cast (older model) because if your phone or tablet dies and you don't have a wall outlet close by then you really couldn't use it

This has been a great purchase. I have an 8 year old smart tv. I decided to go streaming instead of boxes. I went through 3 Rokus in about 7 months. They kept dying out. When I needed to get yet another device, I decided to try Chromecast. So far it's been a great decision. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I can't seem to load Spectrum on it. A Geek Squad guy couldn't do it either. But, I can cast everything from my tablet or phone. That works fine, but a direct app would be preferable. Glad I decided to try this device!

This item was fantastic, It just was just not what i was i looking for. It was nice nice to finally have a Chrome cast with an actual remote. Sure i can use my phone but its just nice to have a remote to click and go through stuff on screen. If i could change one thing it is that the built in ads where annoying.

This is an absolute must if you are planning to cut the cord. It is easy to use and allows you to have the same platform across all your different tv's. No need to remember how to work each tv.

I love how much easier it is than the older Chromecast and that it has a separate remote you don't have to use your phone. It makes things so much simpler and I got it for an awesome price at Best Buy cannot be mad at all Love It!!! ;)))

Goggle’s new Chromecast w/TV is great with a much nicer interface than the YoutubeTV app. You still have all the regular apps but the new interface makes selections much easier. Many new options available!

Having owned several Roku's I thought I would give this a try due to lack of HBOMax support. The UI is much better than Roku. Easy to use. If you have Apple TV+ you wont be able to use this watch, at least not at the time of this review.

Works great! It makes watching all the streaming services much easier for those without a smart tv. The only issue I've had is out of all the services, Disney+ is the only one that has had any issues with buffering through the marathons.

Yes, I would recommend the Google Chromecast to anyone who wants a simple and affordable way to stream content to their TV. It's a great option for people who don't need all the bells and whistles of a more expensive streaming device.

you can never go wrong with Google products ! I like it a lot because you can control the TV with the remote and with your phone too. YOu need to get used to the interface a bit but then you'll surf easily. I wish it didn't need to be powered separately and could be powered via the USB on the TV

I couldn't believe how easy it was to install and use immediately. The remote is a nice size and easy to use.

Navigating with the default tv remote is really painful. I opted this google device for easy navigation and voice control. Can control your tv with Google home or mini too
