This is an excellent streaming device that brings all your best entertainment apps together. This new Chromecast device with Google TV is perfect for watching all your favorite movies and tv shows. I enjoy this device every day.

This is easily the best media player out there. The price is good and the remote works well with my tv and sound bar, it’s nice to be able to power on the tv, change inputs, surf apps and control my sound bar volume from one remote.

I use it with my epson proyector and is amazing to cast movies and pictures

My Smart TV doesn't have that Tablo App and a few others. I searched on Bestbuy and found the new Google TV one ane it was priced very reasonably so I gave it a go. Extremely easy to install and the app is very int.

A huge upgrade from the old one. Having a remote is nice. It only sucks due to the fact that you have to have it plugged into a power socket with the usb c instead of plugging it into the tv for power as well

This is an great upgrade from the original Google Chromecast. Now having an interface & remote control is awesome. I have a few Sony Android TV's already as well & the Android TV OS is starting to become my favorite streaming device.

works much faster than my vizio interface, the only drawback i have is that i cannot seem to get it working for amazon prime. I've read online that this was a problem in the past and that it should have been fixed but i am still unable to get it to work. Everything else about it works great and works fast.

This an awesome little device for the price. I love the interface, the integration with the Google Home package. The only issue I found was that Disney+ is not compatible with Dolby Atomos, Netflix and Amazon Prime are, but no the disney+ app. The interface is also top notch comparting to Amazon Fire and Roku.

I've had every other chromecast model. This new chromecast with remote is by far the best. The remote makes all the difference. I can power on the tv and the sound bar with it. I can even use my Nest speaker to power the tv on.

Didnt have an android tv in bedroom now i do using tjis its very easy to install and it comes with its own remote love it

Very happy with Google's new Chromecast. The remote is a little bit small for my hand, but the directions arrows and the select button are in the perfect position at the top of the remote where your fingers will always find them. The Chromecast itself is amazing. It is far superior to the earlier versions. The apps are very easy to install, and it is possible to add a USBC hub to it so that it can play movies & music off of USB devices (thumb drives and hard drives). I mainly use it for viewing my Plex server, but also with Amazon Prime, HBO Max and Peacock. I have a smart Samsung TV, but the apps rarely get updated or improved, so this is a much better way to add smart capabilities to a TV than relying on the manufacturer's half-hearted attempt to implement smart TV capability.

I bought this originally just because my LG tv did not have HBO MAX as a native app. Now I find myself using this for all my needs on the tv, youtube, disney plus, netflix, and HBO Max. I might just have to buy another.

Upgraded from an older gen 2 chromecast, really enjoy the ability to control the chromecast without a phone. Chromecast itself has most apps you want and finally added AppleTV. Great device, it is a touch slow though.

If you love streaming (which we all do), this is a must-have! You can literally use any and all stream services, all in one place. Set up is super easy with your phone and the different streaming apps, it's truly seamless!

Best purchase I've made since i bought the chromecast ultra. The interface is simple and works for you, while still functioning like your normal chromecast. And 4k streaming for 50 bucks, you'll just be doing yourself a favor.

While we sought other products that were an immediate need for our business meetings with our clients while on business travel status, we also found other items that were needed. I love this item. It allowed me to reduce the amount of devices I had plugged into the wall and my TV. Outstanding product that is easy to use

This is a great steaming device though I cannot give it 5 stars so I gave it 4. There's one problem, it cannot do Dolby vision at 4k. You have to drop the resolution down to 1080p in order to get Dolby vision. It can however do HDR 10 in 4k but another downside is that you have to pick between Dolby vision or HDR 10. If it could do both HDR formats in 4k and just play whatever HDR format the content was mastered in then I'd give it 5 stars. I have not tried the Nvidia shield or shield pro but I heard shield pro can do Dolby vision in 4k so I would assume then that it just plays in HDR 10 or Dolby vision whatever the content is in and you most likely don't have to choose. If that is the case then I'd spend the extra money go with the shield pro. However, if you have an older tv that doesn't support Dolby Vision or even a non smart tv that doesn't have HDR at all then I highly recommend the Chromecast with Google tv to make your dumb tv smart.
