Love the ease of use and the centralized collection on the home screen. Even better than Android TV or the phone/tablet app of Google TV. Only complaint: remote is slippery in the hand. Great deal for the price.

People who use non-android tv’s like LG or Samsung which run WebOS or Tizen OS, I would say if you are frustrated about how few apps aren’t supported on these platforms could use this new chromecast. I’ve been using it for about 3 weeks now and I’ve really liked it. Definitely would recommend.

One of the best purchases I have made! Bought the device to start streaming because we got rid of Comcast cable. Hooked up Hulu+ and Disney+ and not only did it work great it saved me about $100 a month..

The interface is very friendly, and it reacts very quick when compare with other products.

Got tired of connecting my compute to the TV. This makes it easier to watch channels or programs that are on the smart tv. Have a little trouble with PBS Passport - but that could be user error.

This device is awesome. Picture quality is amazing, both standard and 4k. Very fast response time. Use with YouTube tv is excellent, google assistant really impressive. Just say the network and it will tune in.

Best investment as a cable alternative. I have one on every TV in the house now. The remote is perfectly simple and the interface is right on

Great upgrade. Replaced my built in chomecast and had made my sony oled brand new again. Easy install, and better value the apple tv, to get the apple+ app.

This has made cutting the cord painless. The interface is easy to use and it settles into all the other google home items I have. If you are looking to cut the cord with your provider I definitely recommend.

Absolutely great I find it better then paying for cable. Easy to set up fast without the ethernet cable converter. If your paying for Netflix, Hulu, etc... this is your best option.

Makes the Chromecast experience much more useful friendly. Helped me replace my entire cable plan by having something with a physical remote to navigate the streaming services

Big improvement over prior Chromecasts. Sometimes comes up with glitches that can be solved by reseting. App availability is not as extensive as that of Apple TV. Overall the interface is very user friendly and shows the programs you likely want to see without much effort on your part.

Tried Roku and Firestick, still have them.. this is my second google streaming device and love it. I like that I can control it from my phone so no need for a second remote. Rock solid device.

Got this device to stream iFit on the TV in the workout room. Works great! Also plan to take it on trips so we can stream Netflix, Amazon, etc. without using our personal accounts on unknown devices.

I have used Chromecast devices since Gen 1. But this is by far their BEST! Being able to navigate apps and media from it's very own remote, is a game changer. It's about time they did this.

Great product! At first, after setting it up, I was having a problem where the tv screen would go black every so often. After a quick google search, I found out that the problem was that I had it connected to a CEC HDMI port. After switching it to another port and disconnecting it and reconnecting it to the power, it now doesn’t do that. Works well and I love the tv controls for power and volume. It is a bit awkward though that the volume controls are on the side but it is similar to a phone or any modern day mobile device. It works a lot better than the airtv mini I had which would disconnect very often. Gives me peace of mind knowing its designed in house by Google so the software and hardware work together.

This is the best. With the remote it gathers all shows in one location, even if you do not have access to the APPs. The remote makes it easy to navigate and google voice makes searching easy. Highly recommend.

This is a great system for streaming. The only issue I had was connecting this to hotel networks. I was never able to connect it to any even after talking with the Hotel Techs.

We've been using this primarily for YouTube/Google TV, HBOMax, Netflix and Hulu. It also handles a lot of other services we rarely use. It does much better channel aggregation and discovery than our TiVo Streams 4K and would recommend this over that for YouTube TV subscribers. This means that there is a "Home Screen" that shows your content from multiple streaming services all in one spot, so you can see when new shows are available. Avoids having to hunt for them all the time. It also has it's own "Live" view without having to open the YouTube TV App. We've now purchased three of these and other than the buttons turning a bit yellow with use (why do they make remotes white?!) it works great.

It’s a good start to where streaming devices need to go. I like how it integrates all my services together. It focusing more on the movie or show instead of the service itself once everything is linked. They did make some odd choices though. Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos are only supported on Netflix. Why? I e for tons of 4K movies that have both but they only play in HD and 5.1 audio. They need to add the Apple TV app. Roku and Fire have it and it is needed for those of us that use Apple Movies. It integrates well with YouTube TV but still lacks some features that it offers on my Apple TV, which is odd. Channel previews play on Apple TV but not on Google TV, or any other service. Google should have all features on their own device. Hoping they fix some of these in future updates.
