This new Chromecast with remote is MUCH nicer to use, thinking of replacing the other one now!

Hard Rebooting works sometimes... The remote has always been an issue (it is extremely slippery)

Have some small issues where volume button doesn’t work randomly but it may because it’s plugged into my receiver. Reason for 4 and not 5 stars is because it’s difficult to get the 5.1 audio working due to compatibility issues.

I think I would still buy this over Roku and FireTV but Shield TV has worked better for now.

If I hadn’t gotten a TV that has Google TV built in, I wouldn’t have gotten rid of it. Everything is responsive and I’m a big fan of the remote.

The power of Google provides top-notch show/movie recommendations from every media platform I would ever use. My favorite feature is the show me where to watch feature. Google will show me every media provider that has the show/movie I am looking for and if it is free or if I will need to rent it. My only complaint about this product is Google has not added Google Stadia support. This is supposed to be coming sometime in the first half of 2021, but I find it silly that Google could not find a way to add their own gaming service to their newest and greatest casting device. This product is a must buy and has moved my Amazon Fire Sticks to the drawer.

Highly recommend. I ended up purchasing more then one for other people as well.

It added new life to my parent's old LCD TV that didn't have any "smart" software. The UI is intuitive and the controller is easy to use. I highly recommend this even at its retail $50 price.
