it works great convenient easy to set up and works great just 1 problem the TV and the Chromecast need to be on the same bandwidth if not it will not allow all apps to work

A true upgrade to the chromecast ultra. Has practically all the streaming apps you need (Except Apple TV+). The included remote can also control most TVs and soundbars so you don't need to use multiple remotes.

At this price and for the class of product with all the stuff it supports there isn't another streaming device that competes with this. Not sure what made Google wait so long but this is the one.

The cherry on the top to my connected home. Google's ecosystem is very streamline. Set up for everything is about 5 minutes. Now I can control my connected devices while watching TV. Plus there's a remote!!

Have tried Roku and Fire TV, but this Chromecast is by far the best. Works flawlessly controlled by a Harmony Remote, hooked up through a NAD T758V3 receiver going to a Samsung 9 series QLED.

User friendly interface and integrated Google assistant is awesome. Kids profile is also very convenient. I love the remote. Overall great alternative to more expensive Apple TV.

I had Roku prior to buying this one & for whatever reason this one has a problem staying connected to my wifi, and no I haven’t changed internet providers, its been the same since my Roku was hooked up. That's my only complaint. I like having the voice command, makes it easier & quicker to get to what I want to watch.

Google just entered The Android TV box market with this Awesome little device!!! People call it the Firestick killer...I think it is because its new user interface and fast fluid navigation is Amazing!!!

I personally love Google. I didnt want Fire Stick, I didnt want Roku. Since my home is loaded with Google products, especially lights, I decided Google Chromecast would be a great fit! LOVE it.. easy to set up. If you use Google on your computer you understand it a little already! Just plug it into your TV, follow the prompts and away you go. Easy Peasy! Do I recommend it? Yup.. i have 2 TV's in this house and Google hooked up to both. LOVE LOVE LOVE it! GET one or two!

Works as intended, extremely simple and quick to connect as well as set up. Google did well with this one.

Really nice and convenient. Coming from a Roku, having all available shows and movies is much easier. Casting from pc/mobile is seamless as well

Works really good the only issue is the small storage limiteds the amount apps can be installed if you use a lot of different apps.

Nice having more chanels and apps all in one place. Definetly better quality when casting than first generation. Having remote with voice control is a bonus.

Got this in place of the Ruku. This device is way easier to use, and the design is much easier for the user to manage. Once again a fairly low cost option for 4K streaming. A lot of bang for your buck!

This is Awesome! Now you don’t have to use your phone for every thing like the prior models. And now an Android device can cast their screens using the Google Home app. Technology has come a long way.

It's a decent streamer. It's not going to be earth shattering, or ground breaking, compared to other streamers, but it's very good for what it is. As a gamer, I tried some of the steam streaming, and while the new XBOX controllers linked up with this device easily, the lag, streaming over my EERO pro network was just unacceptable, so far. The one complaint I have, is that unlike most other stick streamers, this one can't use the power from the TV itself. I tried two different devices, and it wasn't happening. That takes away from the convenience of something like this, so if that's something you need in your streaming stick, take note. I'll probably be using these over the other brands in the future.

Got this since I cut the cord and switched to Youtube TV, it was exactly what we were looking for, easy integration and works like a charm switching between apps and live tv is a breeze.

I love the Chromecast's interface - the fact that it pulls from all of your services and puts options in one place is a huge upgrade from other devices like the Roku and Samsung TV. Definitely recommed.
