The new Chromecast connects to my wireless quickly, logs into all of my applications, and the new version of Android TV works seamlessly. The Google TV unit interface takes some time to get used to but after seeing the difference compared to Android TV 8.0, it's definitely worth picking up. Another bonus is that it is small, doesn’t heat up, and uses a type-c connector. I can find no flaws with it, and although I wish the remote had a different layout, that's more user preference than a reflection of its design. In short, it's fantastic!

Assuming this will be fixed with future updates. No Stadia support is a major letdown. I imagine for most people, this is a great mix of 4K, Dolby Atmos support, HDR, etc. for the price.

The compact remote fits onto any table, and it can even turn your TV on and off with its CEC functionality.

Adjusting how sensitive Google Assistant responds whenever you say the hotword,“Hey Google", may be helpful with the issue you are experiencing. This setting lets you choose how sensitive your device is to phrases that sound like “Hey Google” and helps detect something that you say that may sound similar or you manually activate your device accidentally. If this happens often, you can make it less sensitive. If the issue persists, you can always contact our support and we'd be happy to assist you by visiting us here: https://support.google.com/chromecast/gethelp
