Worth upgrading form the 1st gen. Google TV is also a fantastic layout. 4k built in and faster streaming than the 1st gen.

Works so great! Our smart TVs is so slow and we added this so we didn’t have such laggy waiting times, it’s awesome.

Using this hooked up to a projector I picked up off of Amazon. Great deal at $50. The WiFi signal is kind of weak sometimes and is only feet from my router. Other than that, I couldn't be happier with it. The termite is pretty nice to, I only wish it were a learning termite so it would work with off brand devices. Also it didn't automatically connect to bluetooth devices, this actually sucks. I use a Google home max for audio and have to manually connect to it everytime.

Works better than expected. It was easy to setup and easier to use. Solved a huge problem in a remote location.

Easy set up and the device functions as intended. Minor issue setting it up with a second phone, still not resolved.

I like the normal Chromecast but I've been wanting to try AndroidTV for a long time. I didn't want to spend the cash on a Nvidia Shield device and the affordable ones always had bad reviews. Now this one is the perfect device I was looking for. Fast interface to get in and out of apps, and rewind and fast forward content. Also a really good prime. My only complaint is that it doesn't support multiple accounts to switch quickly. It seems that is a limitation on all AndroidTV devices.

I absolutely love it easy to use. The microphone is great to get any programming I want all I have to do is talk into it.

Really happy with this. Such a vast improvement over every previous generation. It has completely replaced my Roku.

This is my third Chromecast with Google TV - 4K. So all of out TV's are now equipped. This latest one was installed on an older Samsung that does not have Smart Features. So Google TV just makes it a Smart TV as well. Very nice. One downside is that AT&T Streaming does not provide an app for this device. Another is that navigation within different apps is controlled by those apps, so that there are inconsistencies between them.
