As a software developer who has been using both Firesticks and Rokus for many years, I have always been frustrated with constant lag in the UI (the menus), lockups and reboots. On top of that, the Firesticks are intentionally engineered to not to play nice with Google home products, which is the primary reason I purchased this. I can't emphasis how superior of a user experience this offers over the other products. I have since replaced the other Firesticks in my home with these.

Great streaming device! I strongly recommend! It even comes with a remote and you can share from your smart phone.

Incredibly easy to setup and use, plus YouTube TV is great for live local television in my area and the price is great.

This is my third Chromecast with Google TV - 4K. So all of out TV's are now equipped. This latest one was installed on an older Samsung that does not have Smart Features. So Google TV just makes it a Smart TV as well. Very nice. One downside is that AT&T Streaming does not provide an app for this device. Another is that navigation within different apps is controlled by those apps, so that there are inconsistencies between them.

I love it and very easy to install. I will recommend this item to others.

The Chromecast was easy to set up and use. Google TV is a great format and will bring older TV’s into the 21st century.

I love the addition of remote they've added in this generation. It works better than the Apple TV I also own.

This little thing is wonderful. We have a Samsung 6 series and have been using the native apps without much issue, but found the Samsung interface kind of awful and hated turning it on to their weird network/tv shows every time. The HBO app was super buggy as well, frequently not playing audio at all. This has solved all of our issues and is a joy to use! Bonus: you can sync the screensaver to your Google Photos account! Our toddler loves looking at family photos on the big screen.
