My TV doesn't have access to all the apps because of its age. This works quite well assuming you don't have 20 people on wifi. I hate needing Google home on the phone though.

Google TV provides a very user-friendly streaming experience. The remote feels a little cheap but I haven't experienced any issues after about 4 months of use.

All mainstream streaming apps are available and Google does an AWESOME job tailoring content to your liking. Only $50! I'd say the only negative I would have is that the operating system isnt quite as fast as Apple TV, and the remote (while great) can be a bit small.

This is, by far, the best. It catalogs the movies your own through different providers and organize them by genre and makes suggestions. The only minor hiccup? sometimes it can’t see my wireless network when every other device can. Usually requires a restart.

There could be several reasons that can affect the performance and connectivity of your Chromecast and we’d like to rule out the possibility of your Wi-Fi connection being the cause of this issue. If you're willing, we suggest trying the simple steps below:
- Check for possible interference. Appliances like your microwave oven, refrigerator or even your neighbors Wi-Fi network may cause interference with your Chromecast.
- Check for possible congestion. Removing some of your connected devices may help relieve some bandwidth space and you may check if your experience will improve.
- Ensure that your Chromecast is in a line of sight with your Wi-Fi router to get the best signal strength and Wi-Fi coverage.
- Restart your router, mobile phone and Chromecast.

It has all the latest apps you need. The only things that is weird, and I don't think it's googles fault, the chrome cast won't send the signal to turn the tv on, so to fix it you have to manually turn the tv on and then everything is fine for about 30 days or so and every now and then it happens. I think it's different manufacture programming for the the HDMI arc programming. In short everything is great minus that one inconvenience.

Posted .Hi Krimsonice, thanks for reaching out. Enabling the CEC feature for your TV may be helpful in turning on your TV using Chromecast with Google TV. You can then configure your Chromecast Voice Remote to control your TV, receiver or soundbar by setting up the volume, power and input buttons. If you haven’t tried this yet, when you first set up your Chromecast with Google TV, you can still set them up in Chromecast settings.
