Has the most compatibility with streaming apps overall. Integrates with Google home stuff. Very tiny form factor so that I can pack it on vacation if I want. I love that certain apps share your browsing history so that you can browse across services and get recommendations based on what you watch across services. Wish more services would share the data so it worked better.

So far its worked well all the apps work perfectly and casting from my laptop also works well

Worked perfectly with my son's TV as it completely replaces his existing TV remote and this supports most of the streaming networks. I purchased another for our projector, which is hooked up to a receiver, but it didn't do the job there. It couldn't control the volume of the receiver, but Roku & the FireTV couldn't either. Worst of all, it doesn't (as of this review) support Apple TV...or At&t Watchtv (only on FireTV) & NFL Sunday Ticket. However, the Android UI is top-notch, fast, and customizable. Lots of potential for this little device.

Barely more than plug & play. I can get to Amazon Prime Video and YouTube easily.

It is fast, small, clean and just works. Within a few minutes of plugging the little dongle to the back of your TV, you will be watching media from everywhere you can hope to find movies, TV and internet programming. With 4K support and being easily hidden away at the back of any media setup, the Chromecast with Google TV does feel the ideal device for new people wanting to jump into the world of streaming.

I upgraded my Chromecast now to Chrome TV. Works well and easier to use.

Must buy if you need a smart tv for your regular tv very easy to use

So good and shocked that this is replacing my ATV 4K. Bought this little gadget to replace an ATV 4K that is just getting old. Having also just purchased a 950H I have become accustomed to the fast Android TV experience. This Chromecast has a very similar UI/UX & just works better in the modern streaming world we live in not. The antiquated format of the ATV UI/UX is too clunky in today's modern internet.

so happy with device. Got rear off my cable services back 2 years ago, and since I got the chrome cast 4K I'm able to get shows I wanted and even skip the commercials or not. Planning to get couple more to attach to my old Sony TVs and update.

Bought this so I can stream to my tv from my phone. Great device when you have a older tv
