It is a little more expensive than many, but that's to be expected from Google. The menu is intuitive and very easy to use. Remote seems to lag a little from time to time. Unsure if this is common or environmental with other devices surrounding it. It does default to 1080 for some apps such as Vudu, but if you're already in the Google Ecosystem it's a good buy.

Thanks for letting us know of the lag issue you have using the Voice Remote for your Chromecast with Google TV.
Your Chromecast with Google TV lets you watch movies and TV shows in 4K Ultra HD and 4K HDR content with your favorite streaming services. We recommend checking if your set up has the following items to ensure that you´re viewing on the highest resolution:
- An HDMI port that supports both HDCP 2.2 and 60 frames per second (60 FPS). Note: If you're using an AVR or soundbar, those will also need to support HDCP 2.2.
- A high-speed internet connection of at least 20 Mbps.
- A high speed HDMI cable. Recommended length: Less than 6 ft. (1.8m)
- Use only the power supply that was provided with your Chromecast with Google TV or Chromecast Ultra.

The item I received from the market partner seller was the 2020 model of this. Less storage and processing power. Global Mobile tried to pass the $50 version off for this $200 model. They wouldn't make it right by sending me the proper one when I called them out on it and just made me submit for a refund which they did provide after refusing to send me the proper item. I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and say they just grabbed the wrong one off the shelf since they physically look the same but they by the end, I felt they tried a bait and switch to get rid of their old inventory. BestBuy said they couldn't help since it was a market partner, even though their site says they stand behind all their market partners... Long story short. Just make sure you're actually receiving what you ordered and paid for. As stated, they look the same so you may not realize you received an old inferior model.

Great upgrade from the regular chromecast
