Easy set-up, fast operation and way better upgrade that the Amazon Firestick.

We’ve used Roku & an Amazon Firestick for years and we’ve been happy with them. We got this so we could stream HBO Max. I like that it gives me suggestions to watch on the Home Screen from all the different platforms we stream from. My kids & I also love looking thru pics since the Chrome-cast has the option to use pics from my Google account as a screensaver. We are very happy with this so far!

Easy set up. Works well with the Quest 2 for streaming. I have not used the apps.

Hey it’s $50 what can you expect from it really ! Way better than Fire TV especially for side loading any app you want ! If you want a beast of a streaming box this isn’t it , But it is the future of light content streaming I’m sure the next gen will bring everything upgraded faster bigger memory but for now this is it !

I enjoy this device more than a Roku or FireTv. Very little storage for apps though but just enough for all the main apps.

I got it along with a tv for my room, and I brought it down stairs for my sister and her bf to use for a movie even though downstairs was a smart tv, didnmt offer some applications to have most of our animes in one place. We ended up replacing the older version of the cast to this one. Love it. Black older one works still, but takes a while to connect.

Way better than the old google chrome cast and thank god for the remote

so happy with device. Got rear off my cable services back 2 years ago, and since I got the chrome cast 4K I'm able to get shows I wanted and even skip the commercials or not. Planning to get couple more to attach to my old Sony TVs and update.

Excellent, This kills the Amazon firestick imo. Much faster and cleaner interface.

I bought this to upgrade an older Chromecast (gen 2) that had issues with rebooting randomly. My setup has included a Roku Ultra and a Chromecast, but now I don't know that I need both of them. I so far haven't found any app on Roku that I use that isn't on the Chromecast. This isn't as quick and responsive as my Roku, but it isn't too much a difference. Overall I have been very happy with this upgrade to my system. I notice that I use the Roku less and less now that I have it so time will tell if it just replaces that as well.
