Unit is somewhat comparable to the Firestick. But, if you have the HDHomeRun Prime, the HDHR app actually works and decodes DRM content. Amazon has not allowed the SiliconDust app to decide DRM content....likely for competitive reasons. Android use has no issues. Love this device simply for this reason! Will likely avoid Firestick from this point on!

Easy to use and makes it easy to cast from your phone.

I installed this in our RV to be able to watch tv without using the antenna. It works great!

My roku stopped working after year or so and got this too replace it, and this works great,easy interface, all the same apps work on here, and they seem to look better too.

I had previously had a Roku but there was no Disney+ so I switched to the Chromecast. When Roku added Disney + I put it on another TV but I kept getting overheating issues so that was it into the drawer and I added another Chromcast. The controls are relatively easy to figure with only app software clunkiness sometimes slowing your start a program.

I have an Apple TV and this one is just as good if not better

Delivered very quickly. Really good. Pros Allows me to see a range of movied which were either part of one of my subscription plans like Disney+ or if i didn't subscribe to a service it allows me to rent the title. Cons Only downside is the storage space and no ISP cable tv app ( Spectrum/ At&t).

Best streaming interface yet. All content (except for Netflix since they discontinued their support after launch) in one place. Simple set up and the device is hidden behind the tv. Interface can be a little glitchy from time to time. I.e. not everything showing up on the continue watch section. Hopefully a future update will fix that. Remote is also on the small side

Great way to combine tv remote and streaming apps, and adding apple tv. Works great for atmos setups.

Works extremely well as a streaming device and especially if you have Youtube TV. It integrates very well with YTTV and, in fact, has better live guide than the native Youtube TV app guide. My only issue is that I use my Sony Bravia TV remote to control streaming devices like this (e.g. Roku, Shield TV, etc.) and it works with all of the controls for this EXCEPT that, while it turns the CCWGTV off, it will not turn it back on. Which means we have to keep that remote around just to turn it on.
