Great product to have in a spare room. Have access to all my apps and shows.

This just works. All your streaming services in one place. Recent updates added Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. These were the only things missing at launch. I had previously used an Nvidia Shield Pro, but a recent software update bricked it. Making the transition to this product was a breeze.

I had a TV in my bar area that worked great before Spectrum forced all TVs to have a cable box to get all channels. The TV hung unused for over two years. Now with this device I can stream video on Google TV to it again. I can even stream all my Spectrum cable channels using Chromecast to cast the Spectrum app from my phone to the TV.

Love it! Now that it has a remote makes all the difference.

I was on the fence about buying another chromecast but I'm glad I bought this one. I love that all the apps are built in and I don't have to use my phone to stream anymore. The video quality looks amazing when paired with a 4k capable TV. The included remote works great and I love that I can search for shows and movies with my voice.

I really enjoy the Google TV UI over regular Android TV. It doesn't compete hardware wise with the Nvidia Sheild, but for the price I would not expect it to. Yet, there can be occasional hickups when navigating through the interface. The Google Play Store has a robust selection of apps. From what I can tell, the platform is only missing BritBox and Apple TV+, but unless you are heavily into the Apple ecosystem, I don't consider it to be a deal breaker.

As most of my home is Google now, this seemed like a great product to use with my new 4K TV. I had wanted another Apple TV with 4K (I have an older version that is not 4K), but wasn't ready to shell out the money. Chromecast is pretty nice because it can control my soundbar and TV, plus you can talk to it, and it has a much better click response than my Apple TV remote. However, it does have connectivity problems more often than I'd like.
