I cannot believe the amount of features you get on this device for the price. This blows Apple TV out of the water in almost every aspect and I thought Apple was the best. This is very snappy and responsive and works well, even with a slow internet connection.

It is a four because there are really no directions to manage to go through programming, etc. The voice control is great but the manual function is hard to learn. We are still learning as there is a big curve and there is no straightforward way of learning except through trial and error.

don't understand why this thing doesn't work. 1st of i have like 6 chromecast... this one is my 1st 4k unit. once installed and after programming the remote to control the TV and sound bar, this junk would not work right on the chromecast itself. cannot move the cursor to the right to settings.. had to type it in the search screen... then i launched tubi and was fine, then tried netflix and after signing in, could not return to the chromecast home screen. the home button did not work. so the unit is now stuck on Netflix.. will try again tomorrow.. if it doesn't work sending this junk back...

The only reason why I give it 4 stars is that voice only works for the Google Home portion. I can tell Google Assistant to go to a particular app to open it, which is very helpful but it doesn't work inside of the app. Otherwise, this was a great investment, especially for what happened between our cable/satellite services. If you use Google a lot, Chromecast is best for you.

I am surprised by how much I like this and I think I might finally cut the cord. I already have HBO Max and I love how easy it is to use on this, I stream Youtube often, and I am liking the free trials that came alone with purchasing. The only issue I have had is figuring out the remote, but I am sure that will be easier over time.

This works well and relatively easy to set up even on an older tv.

I love this new chromecast, it is such an improvement over the old one. The voice remote is a great feature. It will find you a lot of free context especially if you sign up for Tubi as well and I am sure there is so much more there that I don't have time to find. Ha

This device is easily converts normal TV to smart TV by means of HDMI port. Looks good and works in single platform of all apps like other. Also, it works as a smart Home.

I have Apple TV, Rokus, Firesticks, etc. This is hands down a far better device. It is easy to use with a lot of tv options. The only downside is that the Wi-Fi signal can sometimes be very weak, although it seems that they have corrected the problem.

Works perfectly fine, it’s fast and doesn’t have any glitches I’ve noticed.

Love it, I travel a lot for work, I never have anything to watch. I can connect this chromecast any where and watch the shows I want.

Was easy to install and get up and running. Seamless.

A bit buggy. Over a Chromecast Ultra, I like having a remote and onscreen guide. But my video freezes often and the whole system seems a bit unfinished. I don't like having to see services I don't subscribe to with no way to hide them. Also, stadia doesn't work on google tv. I may go back to Chromecast Ultra.

Very easy to install, works pretty well. Got the apps I wanted. Remote controller matched the tv and functions well.

Definitely helpful for me who has no cable/satellite/popular streaming service to get some live news and make my TV smart. It's not necessarily a must as there are other ways to watch live news but if you have a TV that's not smart then it's something to consider.
