Great Dongle for 4k vs Fire stick and Roku units I have tried in the past. Very snappy and quick to find apps and install them. Love you can hard wire it as well with the optional adapter from google.

It's a simple plug and play situation! Great video quality and streaming just works. The remote is simple and easy to use and seems to have great range. We are Youtube.TV people so this locks in seamlessly with our world.

This Chromecast has a great interface that you can customize to your liking. It's particularly nice if you have YouTube TV as your live streaming service. A nice feature is that it searches across all your services for matches. And everything can be done with one small remote.

It works great! You can't watch your apps right off of the Chromecast or you can from your phone like you would with a older Chromecast I will get a lot. It works perfectly for everything. And the Google TV app that it comes with is also pretty cool. It actually has a couple Of live TV channels

I upgraded to new chrome cast after my old one doesn’t work anymore. New one come with remote control and voice command very easy to use once you got a hang of it. Even better I got it on sale for $10 off. Very happy!

Everything you could possibly need to stream + geforce now makes this thing almost as good as my xbox! :D

very good streaming device, works great and easy setup. voice control is also good. the sound quality from my receiver is better than when using a fire tv or an Apple tv. Good purchase and on par with or slightly better than the other streaming devices including Apple tv.

Excellent device! Much better and faster than any of the fire tv's. No issues with any of the apps! I couldn't get HBO max on fire tv, no problems here! Very easy to set up and use, awesome that it shows all your shows and recommendations from all your services.

I needed a Chomecast device so that I could cast my Oculus Quest 2 to my LG OLED TV. It was frustrating that Chromecast was a requirement because we were big Roku users (even with the LG because WebOS lacks some key apps for us like MLB) and it won't directly cast to those devices, but I figured it was worth getting rid of the lag we were seeing by casting to my Galaxy Note and then casting to the Roku's through SmartView. It was worth the purchase price just for that, but the more I use it, the more I like it. 4k HDR looks great on my LG OLED, and its much more responsive then the Roku 4k streaming stick+ currently plugged in. It integrates perfectly with my Harmony Hub (it utilizes Bluetooth to transmit commands to the device, and worked perfectly). Very happy with this purchase.

This is a great streaming device, likely the best I've seen for the price. The interface is very fast and Google Assistant is responsive. I'm able to use a wide range of apps. Very easy set up including remote controls and soundbar control. The remote feels very comfortable to use. I wish this had some sort of Ethernet connectivity. Wifi is great but would prefer to use a solid connection. This is sitting in back of my outdoor TV. Haven't used it yet in extreme weather but hoping it holds up.

I love the new Chromecast. Very easy to set up and it is one of the only streaming services that offers HBO Max. I look forward to all of the software upgrades that come out to give me even more features. I no longer need my FireStick 4k, since this offers Prime, as well.

The Chromecast works very well. GoogleTV is a great interface for all my streaming services including YouTubeTV. Rarely have streaming trouble so far and interface is very user friendly.

As a long time user of the Chromecast Ultra, this new version works really well, and the remote does make a huge difference. The only thing I would like to warn people about is the HDR - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It may just be my TV (2018 Samsung KS8000 series). You can easily tell if HDR is not on because the colors are washed out - HOWEVER this only happens when playing HDR content. Be sure to turn on "HDMI UHD Color", or you may need to turn it off/back on for it to register. Other than that, having smartphone-style volume buttons on the side of the remote is great. Interface is super fast and easy to understand AND works across multiple platforms. My last compliment is that it doesn't run very hot like my Ultra did.

For the price, you get a solid interface and a very easy setup. Works pretty well with the Google home mesh network as well. I just wish it still had the same voice command functionality of the original chromecast.

Wow, this is a feature packed dongle! Works with all services I want to use. Price is by far the least expensive option in this category, but the features are the most expansive. Remote works really well too. A+, would definitely buy again.

Love this thing, and the price is really not bad either! It works well with all of my other Google Home devices and I’ve been able to easily connect my other streaming services with no issues. Live the remote style too, simple and easy to use, and voice control works good.

This is everything you could ever want from the Chromecast Experience. Its an updated chromecast with universal 4k and great audio codecs, and a sweet little remote that focuses on its smart assistant capability to become the best remote you could use. HIghly recommend.

Outstanding device and extremely easy to use! Can set up in any room with zero issues and allows you to stream any where/any time!! Upgraded from first generation and have no regrets, especially with the new controller that it comes with which makes everything simple!!

This unit delivers the goods with Google TV. No issues with how many services it can connect to. And, it's quite fast and responsive. It would be a lot better, though, if the remote was bigger with buttons that say more - the icons are quite confusing, for example, the Power button is NOT for the Chromecast itself but for the TV. Also, when you first switch to the Chromecast input on the TV, the TV screen is blank, and it is unsure which button you need to press to wake up the Chromecast. I finally figured out I can just press the indented circle at the top. All of this could be helped with better instructions, but it comes only with a tiny booklet of how to connect it - and this booklet does not tell you the craziness you have to go through on-screen to get it fully configured and connected, including how you have to plug it into an actual wall power source rather than your TV's USB power - fortunately, I have an IT background so I could figure out what it wanted, but I pity the poor grandmothers of the world who try to install this on their own... Even so, once it is configured and connected, and once you figure out how to wake it up, it works like a charm...

It’s a Big difference when you have access to a remote control. Although the remote looks and feel cheap. it lacks on sound quality, you have to keep on adjusting the volume every time the video plays an explosion or any other high volume sounds. It’s very easy to install and to use it’s features. If it wasn’t for the sound quality then it’ll had a 5 stars.
