⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Google Chromecast is a game-changer for home entertainment! It seamlessly turns any TV into a smart TV, allowing me to stream my favorite shows, movies, and music directly from my phone or laptop to the big screen. Setting up Chromecast was incredibly easy; I simply plugged it into my TV's HDMI port and connected it to my Wi-Fi network. The Google Home app guided me through the process in minutes. While probably not fair, I am reviewing this against the built in Google TV on the Sony A80J. This CCwGTV works very well with CEC, and plays nice on Vizio, Sony, and a Sharp 1080p TV I have around. The selection of apps is fantastic, and the video quality and audio quality sent to the TV or AVR is great. It runs Android 10 (currently) and is very easy to learn. Anyone with Google based infrastructure will find this device works great, logging you into your apps, and presenting different display options on the home screen, from just showing your apps, to showing apps and suggestions. My only complaint vs the Sony is it is somewhat laggy when skipping commercials on live TV apps. The voice command works very well. Overall, I would recommend this device for those not needed the high horsepower and features of the Nvidia Shield.

This is the best streaming device at the price. Beats the competitors easily. I wish it had more storage, but thats about it. Quick, smooth and im able to get all my apps in one place!

The compatibility of this device is awesome. You can stream basically any media app from your phone to it. I even use the voice feature on the controller to control my smart home stuff that is linked to Google. Can use it to live view my Wyze cams on the tv, love it and have been using them for years. 100% worth it, turns any tv with an hdmi into a smart tv.

Great for watching your shows and even better for casting to your tv. 4k is also the way to go since 8k tvs are coming now. The remote is also simple and convenient to use.

Set up is easy. Have an existing previous version of the Chromecast (v3) and added this new version to our master bedroom non smart television. Casting is easy. The native apps is great but is a bit slower than I'd like but the convenience makes up for it.

This was super easy to set up. I like the interface much better than the firestick (recommendations are very nicely displayed on the home screen). However, there is quite a bit of noticeable lag when opening / closing apps at different times. Not bad for the initial offering.

This is my first chromecast and I'm not disappointed. It powers on much faster than the firestick does. It easy to navigate and the picture is excellent. I'll be replacing the firestick on the other tv's

Good product but the remote control is rather touchy. Once you get used to it, it's not bad. Overall I really like the product. I had a fire stick and I actually like this product more.

I did not know whether to purchase a fire stick or this chromecast but I decided to buy the chromecast instead I love the remote nice simple and I love that the fact that it uses an actual stock android operating system in its very quick compared to what my TV had to offer

New Chromecast w/ google TV is perfect! I wish this was released earlier this year, I would have purchased a different 4KTV a few months back if so. Menus are easy to navigate, apps and channels are organized and its Google's UI, which I like. Once you plug into a HDMI and power outlet you are good. If you are watching cable thru another hdmi and power on GoogeTV it automatically turns on and changes the input for you so you dont need to pick up an additional remote to turn it on. You can also sync with your remote for power and volume. I also bought an additional unit for a older non/smart TV so I have access to all the latest apps and streaming services on that one too. For $50 its a no brainer in my mind.

This is what Google should have released to compete with the Fire Stick, wayyyyy better in terms of users interface, ease of use, and finding content. Got plenty of them for Christmas presents this year.

I love having all my apps in one place. Google logins makes it even faster to set up. It's far faster than apps in a smart tv.

These are my preferred method of streaming media to the TV's in my house. I have these fitted in every room, and it makes streaming content an absolute breeze. The remote is great, my kids are able to navigate to their content easily. I typically cast from my phone, but both options are fantastic. The option to program the remote to also work on the TV itself as well as a soundbar leaves me with no complaints what so ever.

Chromecast makes it very easy to watch many types of entertainment. Cast from your phone to TV is easy. Cast from your tablet or computer and take it with you on trips!

The best gadget ever, all channels, you can download your preferred channels. Access to Netflix, Disney, Amazon prime, HBO max, Hulu, and more. I love it

These are great for those who travel or for your home tv. Some of us like to throw all kinds of wild content from our phone to the tv while we are away from family or work with out fear of judgement and let me tell you google makes it so easy. In fact so easy that now my right arm is much more tone. Its good for health!!

This device has some nice upgrades from prior models. The 4K streaming works well and the interface is similar now to a Fire stick. No issues with any glitches while casting which is most important to me.

This is an amazing streaming device! - very easy to hook up to the google home environment - very speedy and responsive I bought several more I was so impressed! Highly recommended!!!

Awesome upgrade to regular Chromecast. I kept having issues streaming content with my original Chromecast that was about 4 years old. I have excellent wireless speeds (200+ Mbps) so I knew it wasn't my WiFi. Rather than drop a large sum of money on a new Apple TV 4K, I decided to give this new Chromecast a try. Immediately noticed a difference. Setup was quick and easy and I've been able to stream games through MLB.TV in HD no problem ever since. All the typical streaming options work great too - Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, YouTube TV - it's all great. Great value for the money, especially when compared to the Apple TV 4K, which is roughly 4 times the price.
