Use it to stream, bought this because it supports 4k and google chrome casting compares to the other option.

This makes everything about TV easier and smoother. I have an LG smart TV, and as soon as I installed this guy, I uninstalled ALL of my 'smart TV' content. This is faster, easier, and just all around better. I can even install Android Nintendo emulators (with varying degrees of success). My favorite feature of this device is the 'watch list' that brings together all of your streaming platforms, and has one master watch list. I love it. I strongly recommend.

Love it. Can't believe I waited this long to get rid of the worst cable experience I've ever had in spectrum.

I bought this to watch HBO Max, which isn't an available app on my LG OLED TV. It replaces a Roku stick which had the common overheating problem. It got so hot, you couldn't touch it, so I returned it. This Chromecast has no overheating problem at all, and works like a charm. Great 4k picture with Dolby Vision and HDR. What's not to like? Easy setup. For 50 bucks, I like it way better than Airplay, which I found to be clunky.

Works great for all streaming platforms. Fast process as well.

Bought this as a gift for my father and mother-in-law. Easy to use and works well with apps and also screen casting Oculus.

Not the easiest to install. But once that's done, it is so much fun to use! I bought it for the ability to cast from my phone. It's great! I highly recommend it!

I love my Google TV! This has turned out to be the best streaming device I've used. Easy to access any and all streaming services you need. I really like how easy it is to navigate through the interface, as well as locate any TV show or movie you're looking for, no matter where it is. Google TV will tell you what services offer what you're looking for and bring you straight there so you can start watching! For what you get it's an amazing value.

We have a samsung tv. It was slowing down. Plugged this in and made it much faster thanks to recpmmmdations of a few co workers. Grandma found a french tv ahow that wasnt reqlly available xfinity wise so that was also a plus!

This is definitely a must have - over Roku and Amazon - if you’ve embraced the Google Ecosystem. The layout is perfect and easy to navigate. The remote control is amazing. Definitely worth the money and time to set up.

This is head and shoulders above the interface of Roku. I love the simplicity of how it merges all the shows that I'm watching across platforms and includes the suggestions. The overall Google suggestions and watchlist (at the risk of privacy, I guess) is fantastic. It also gives you options of the platforms which you want to watch. I have the latest roku and this, and as an otherwise Apple user, I prefer this 10/10. Docking 1 point because the remote's direction buttons are janky. Sometimes they work, and sometimes they don't.

Chromecast with Google TV 4K is much more than just a streaming stick with a remote. One of the best streaming devices there is, Google's latest home entertainment device boasts a sensible interface, nearly every streaming service you can think of and Google Assistant at your beck and call.

Great improvement over previous versions. Got this specifically so I could set up an iptv. Works great.

Amazing little device. Works great! Much more responsive than my Vizio's smart tv features. I also love having the remote instead of having to pull out my phone. I've bought into the google ecosystem, so having an assistant button on the remote and being able to talk into it is pretty cool too. The ability to add storage and stuff through usb-c is pretty cool too! Check out youtube videos on that. Very cool device.

Very smooth UI and all the app choices you would want. Now my issue with it (and the reason I returned it) is because it will not work with the 1A / 5V power provided by the TV's USB port. It needs more than that so you are forced to use the included power adapter. The way my TV is set up It has not visible cables so I just wanted to connect this device to it and forget about it. Unfortunately this was not for me but if you have a setup where you have a power outlet behind your TV or not care about the dangling cable then this one is definitely for you
