I tried the Chromecast 4K, hoping it would be a solid addition to my streaming setup, but it left me disappointed. The device was noticeably slower compared to other streaming options like Apple TV, with laggy menu navigation and delayed responses when opening apps. While the picture quality was good, the overall sluggish performance made it frustrating to use, especially when switching between apps or content. For the price, it’s a decent option for those on a budget, but if you’re used to the snappiness of devices like Apple TV, this may not be the best choice. I ended up returning it and sticking with what worked better for me.

I use this and a firestick. This is much quicker and I like the interface better than the firestick.

This my second Chromecast with Google TV due to it being truly the best streaming stick around. I even, like this one better than the built in TV interface on LG, Samsung, & TCL TVs. The interface is full of great feature plus its super smooth and love have the google assistant right on the remote. If you have a google account, get this over Roku, or even Amazon fire sticks.

Excellent device need improved more for use some app example directv stream is not working on Chrome but for cell is ok or table but for Chrome is not available they need to do the apps universal for all devices to use Chrome not only for select devices but on stream resolution and access to Google ambient is perfect and easy to navigate on all ecosystem

Long time Google fan here, this will be the 3rd Chromecast we have purchased, I have one connected to my main TV and the second in our Bedroom. I have subscribed to several of the streaming services so the only time I don't have something to watch is because I've not turned the TV on! Google is suggesting a lot of content, a few from platforms I dont subscribe to. But I sub'd to some others and really like the content. The darn dog likes the remote and chewed it up. I bought two more and nightly place them where she cant get to. I have also had one remote "wear out" where the buttons just stopped working, So very easy to add remotes, Google does a nice job there.

Chromecast is so easy to install and gives me more options to view on my TV or any TV I use. I like the idea that I can take it with me anywhere I go, on business trips or vacations. I do not leave home for any length of time without it.

Works great. Very fast and easy to use streaming device. Much better than Amazon Fire stick.

It's excellent, responsive. Massive improvement moving on from classic Chromecast to Android tv.

Amazing product at this price. Older smart TVs that don't have all the apps such as HBO Max can be improved with this. The little remote is an added bonus. My only complaint is I wish the remote was a bit larger to allow holding it by the end and use the buttons. Having said that, those buttons, power and TV source are not used that much. I highly recommend it and I'll probably buy a second one for an older non-smart TV.

Pros: Easy setup. I like how it shows all of my streaming services in one dashboard. Input, volume, and power buttons for TV are really nice upgrade from my old streaming stick. Cons: You can't use the USB port on the TV to power it. Must run to a plug. Remote is really slick and smaller and buttons are too so it's easy to press wrong button and/or drop remote. Not a huge deal. Just took some adjustment. Love it still.

Good entry level streamer. Performance is decent. Storage does fill up fast if you use a lot of apps and I can do without all the ads.

I bought this to use with my Samsung qled TV. While the TV itself has streaming apps the interface was annoying and practically unusable. Every time you have to keep going back to the samsung tv+ whatever so that the sound bar can be controlled. Enter the Chromecast - easy to use, since it plugs into hdmi it functions properly with the TV. No buffering or issues. Love it!

I bought this to replace a Firestick 4K and the Chromecast is much better. It is much more stable and easy to use. Some reviewers complain that the remote is slippery (it is) so I also purchased a silicone cover for it, which works great.

This is an excellent product. I have been a longtime fire stick user, and was looking to upgrade, when this device launched. The price was reasonable so I decided to give it a try. The set up was easy, and I like the interface. Integration with my streaming services was seamless, and the supported apps seem more comprehensive than with the fire stick. Also, the Best Buy staff were very helpful. I strongly recommend this product.

this is great, you can stream stuff easy and from your phone too, if you have a dog just keep the remote away from them in a place they can't find because it can be confused as a treat especially if you don't clean it after you eat and handle it cuz they might try to eat it thinking it's a bone, my vet doesn't blame me but just a heads up, it's not good for your dog if they eat it, recommend the product though
