Love it for the Google ecosystem. I was initially looking for an original Chromecast (without the Roku-like interface). However, this has been more than pleasurable to work with and stream with, and I would recommend it if looking into devices for streaming from android mobile devices.

Very easy to set up and to use. Excellent picture quality.

Great product but does not cast your TV sound to Google Speakers, it will only cast music. In my opinion, that’s such be a standard feature to cast the same sound from the Google TV you are watching to any or all of your Google Speakers. Very disappointed that this device does. It so that. On a positive note, it works great, very easy to use and nice to have all of your programming in one place and not have to toggle through separate apps to find a show to watch. Google, add Google TV cast to your speakers!!!!

Easy setup - easy to use. One of the best streaming device available. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to cut the cord.

I was skeptical about how nice it would be having this device, but I can honestly say I'm pleasantly surprised at not only how easy it was to set up, but how good the connection to WiFi was. Been using several of these for a month or two now and they are very nice to have. A great change of pace from dealing with Amazon Fire devices!!

We bought this to stream some concerts from Veeps from an iPad. But we now use it as our primary interface for everything on our Sony TV with Android OS. We cut the cord and use YouTube TV - and a bunch of other popular services. This works so much better than the Android interface on the TV. Do follow the recommendations to plug the power supply into an outlet - rather than your TV.

Great for older TV's without all the smart features. Awesome upgrade for Plex users that usually use their cellphone and the older grey chromecast (main reason for trying it was being able to view Plex screen on the TV and not my cellphone). Amazon prime supported. Remote powers on my HDMI connected TV & sound Receiver. Remote works without having to point it directly at receiver.

Great device for casting and watching your favorite streaming services. This is a big upgrade/step up from the original Chromecast. The setup was easy, its very user friendly and has a lot of app options to stream from. The remote has the necessary buttons to take full control of the device. Definitely worth the price, way cheaper than buying a new smart tv.

No easier way to add casting to a TV that doesn't have it or uses another service as a native tech.

I have been using Chromecast to view different streaming services and it has worked well so far. I have found one streaming service that shows older tv shows that I like to watch and have signed up for it. I will be turning of the satellite tv service as soon as I find a streaming service that has local tv stations on it.
