If you need a streaming stick/box get this for 40$ it is amazing and beats out the Apple TV and fire TV. The only reasons not to get it is if you need airplay or if you need to stream games then you should look at the Nvidia shield

Great streaming device if you do not have a smart TV. Love the ability to cast directly from my phone.

I had an old Apple TV that was not supporting some of the apps in it. That is why I have been looking for a new TV streaming device. For its price and its capabilites Google Chrome with Google TV is fantastic. Its remote is way better than the apple tv's one. The OS is very nice and the google assistant through the remote is great.

The great: In contrast to other viewpoints, I don't mind the so called ads that are part of the new interface. In fact, I appreciate the suggestions that seem to be tailored to my viewing habits. The interface is intuitive and if you have YouTubeTV, it's fantastic! Easy to setup and configure any modern TV. The not so great: For what you pay, one would expect more from the remote. It feels cheap, light and easily breakable. It does work well though

Oh, I just love this Chromecast with Google TV. Very nice to have a remote and more you can do than just pushing feeds from a laptop, phone, or tablet. I like the choices for TV services, which make a dumb tv, smart. I like how fast the casting is to it and I like how you can cast from either an Android or iOS phone. A great buy

Better than firestick, interface and speed is noticeably better

I have tried them all (Except apple tv tbh because of the price). This have topped them all and is my first choice due to simplicity and power. I like the design, interface and top of that now you can connect stadia to play AAA games on it. Don't think twice if you are looking for a great streaming device on a good price.

We have 5 TV's in our house, and all but one of them are smart TV's. This clever little device turned that TV into a smart TV. All the most popular streaming apps like Hulu, Netflix, Disney+, etc. are available through Google TV. Also casts shows, videos, etc. to your TV like a traditional chromecast. Wish we had gotten it sooner.

I got this because webOS wasn't doing it for me (hbo max). Plus the Google tv interface is so much better than webOS. If you have an LG TV, get this! You do have to go into display settings and switch on "match content". Because if you don't, all the apps will be in dolby vision and the content will be overblown when it comes to the picture.

I like the device, it has a good layout and pleasant interface with good suggestions for things to watch but I am finding things that do not work with Google TV like AT&T TV Now and unfortunately that is the service I am using. Also in comparing to Fire TV 4K I am seeing it is a little slower but not to the point that i would not recommend it. Remote is nice size but missing rewind and fast forward buttons and volume is on right side that is proving to be inconvenient.

It's worth it way better than a Roku. So far I have one in the living room and one in my bedroom they work perfectly. The remote doubles as a TV remote or soundbar remote as well. If you have Bluetooth headphones you can connect it to the device for private listening which is awesome and works well. The same can be done with your Google Home speakers.

Over all great picture. 4k resolution. Steam Dolby Atmos signal from provider. "Received if your TV is Dolly digital" and tuner/soundround sound is Atmos certified. Totally enjoy it. Can control via any Android phone or tablet. Remote control easy to use, but, too bad it's not backlit. Over super operating system.

Chromecast works great I have been using for almost 2 years With 4k quality and good resolution in 65 inch tv

The streaming device that gets giving you just your apps at a glance or all the content that you might like, RIGHT! I didn't have much luck with the Roku layout and the Fire Stick was so proud of it own products it didn't leave room for much else. While I do love my YouTube TV (YT TV) it's far better on the Google TV platform (the best DVR out there too!). At first I wasn't a fan of this device because it was turning off with the TV all the time and literally took over a minute and half to start up. But updates and settings have changed that and it's ready on when the TV fires up. They also just put out an update that allows you to change the dedicated YT button to YT TV which is even more useful for those of us with it! The Google assistant is really good at pulling up proper content and showing you how you can watch it. While I gave it 5 stars I will say I am not 100% sold on the design of the remote. It's slippery and all the buttons are raised up off the body of the remote which makes it easy to accidently hit any and all of the buttons!! Our dog has become a professional channel surfer ... with that being said I am also sure a $5 silicon cover will 100% solve these issues when some Chinese company finally sells them ...

My tv doesnt have the applications like the Google Chromecast does. It is really affordable and I love the features on it. Makes watching tv more enjoyable with Netflix, Hulu, YouTube and other apps all ready in hand.

Setup is easy, works great and the remote is a nice addition.
