This is simple to use. I like having the remote to make selections. Added a couple of my apps.

Bought this as a gift and the person I gave it to replaced a regular chromecast and said this is light years ahead of the regular chromecast. With the remote it basically turns your TV into a Google/Android TV. You can still use it to cast things from your phone or tablet but you get easy to use menus right on your TV.

I love this thing. I got this to cast to my new 4k TV but I don't think I've ever actually cast anything to it because I love the provided Google TV hub. It's extremely well designed and it's easy to go between my different streaming services, youtube, etc.

Thanks to the addition of “...with Google TV” and the great remote control and voice control option, the latest Chromecast is not only the best yet but it’s one of the very best 4K video streamers around. It's easy to find what you want, the video quality is excellent, and there's impressive audio. It's missing a few built in apps, but overall it's an excellent choice.

This device gave a breath of new life to our old tv with working display but no smart capabilities. Only one remote needed for all our needs. It is fast and very user friendly, definitely upgrade from other stick devices. Hoping it is more durable than the other stick devices we had as well, will update if any changes.

I already have a smart tv fully loaded with apps, but im slowly adopting the google ecsystem so wanted give this a try. Overall, its solid, but probably a small downgrade from just using LGs built in apps. My biggest issues, its noticeably slower, and not as smooth. Apps take much longer to get a video pumping out than i expected, amazon prime videos taking the longest for some reason. I can click on a video on prime and it loads for 30-50 seconds before playing. The navigation is locked at 60hz, my TV is 120hz, so just browsing on the chromecast vs LG looks much worse. Negatives aside, i love the recommendations tab, the watch tab, and the continue watching tab, they're very convenient. All the shows you're watching across all apps show up on the main menu, vs having to open each app. I usually watch multiple shows at once, so this makes it so much easier so i dont forget any. Overall, its a solid device. If you have a smart tv already like myself, the tabs i mentioned above is worth buying this for by itself.

It is much faster than the smart tv integration in my current 4K TV. I much prefer Google's interface as well. Great product overall. A bit pricey, but it was worth it. Only gripe is that I have to restart it occasionally due to an audio glitch. Other than that, great product!

The new platform of incorporating a common Browning area, where content from every app can be searched is amazing. It makes it easier for older users, and make streaming a lot easier for them as well. Also, tying in your Google Library, for digital titles, is also a great addition. Definitely recommend.

Nice form factor and I love the remote compared to a chromecast. Being a Nvidia Sheild user I wanted the Android TV experience for a cheaper price for my family room. However, this doesn't have Android TV, this has Google TV. I thought it would be the same but it's not. Android TV has the Play Store, Google TV does not. There's also ads. For $50 you can't beat it. Way better then a roku or fire stick.

Easy to setup, i find the remote a little small and the volume buttons in a awkward location in my opinion. The interface is easy to maneuver but not able to pair with my Stadia gaming controller and this also does not support my cable providers application so i cant watch my cable subscription through this device.

WiFi chip went out on my TV so i couldn't stream anymore. With this low cost investment I was able to start streaming again and I gained access to more options. Also, elected me to connect with Goggle Home.

Have been using the Chrome cast device for over a year now and love it! Liked it so much I bought another one. Intuitive to manage, easy to use, lots of choices (apps). My only criticism would be it should have more built in memory for the many apps available to download.

This is the best streaming device I've ever owned! I was using fire sticks and after buying one of these it blew my mind. I've had a couple of issues with it glitching but could be Dolby set up, a simple restart fixes it which means it's probably just an update that can come one day.

My newest Chromecast works perfectly. We picked it up for a babysitter to use during a wedding. Instead of getting videos, we could just plug in laptops all set up for the 4 year olds.

This Chromecast made hotel stays more enjoyable! Very intuitive, setting up hotel wifi password is so easy while the old Chromecast wont even connectas most hotels have built in restrictions to such devices. There wont be traveling for me without it.

The Gen2 ChromeCast is awesome for its price. The quality makes it amazing, makes streaming apps way more easier to cast on.

My uncle likes to watch tv outside. He uses the dish tv app to cast to his old google cast device. Was slow and would sometimes crash. So I upgraded him to the new 4k cast and he loves it! Clearer picture and very fast response.

I've owned a 1st Generation Chromecast for a while and it was a bit laggy at times. I purchased the new one because of the remote and not having to go through a mobile device to make it work. OMG what a gamechanger this is. No lag whatsoever and it works just like it was an app built into a smart tv. Highly recommend!
