We finally cut the cord! So got this to be able to watch YOUTUBE tv with out casting. Like it so much bought a second one for the other t.v!

This device is fantastic. I appreciate that it allows for all signed in apps to show on one view instead of going into each app individually to see what is recommended for me. I can also use the remote to communicate with the rest of my smart home devices.

I have some gripes...but don't let those deter you. This is a great way to stream TV and "cut the cable." Others have written about the good points...let me just pick some nits for a moment. The remote is round and slippery. It has slipped from my hands and crashed to the ground while on the treadmill more than a few times. The user interface (UI) is confusing at times. That's because you stream with different apps from different providers (eg Netflix, Prime, YouTube TV, Paramount, Disney, etc). Each one has a slightly different set of reactions to the buttons. Sometimes I can join a program in progress recorded on their "DVR" other times I can go to the beginning. I can't figure this out. The back arrow seems to have a mind of its own. Maybe that's due to the way different apps respond to it. Integration with the Google Home app should be improved. I believe it is impossible to add a device to a "room." If you want a device in a "room" it appears that you have to set it up that way from the beginning.

Works very well with our LG smart TV. Set-up was easy - it was almost plug and play. Channel choices are excellent.

I'm glad it has a remote. I've been using a firestick and a Chromecast because A remote is convenient, but now I can just use this. Kind of feels bad because I bought a chromecast ultra for $70 last year, and this does everything and more and is cheaper.

I like the upgrade to the remote control aspect. it has been easy to connect the phone to the tv. i had not tried the new one with my laptop. I had the old version which was connected. someone commented the new might not pick up from a laptop. if that is true that would definitely be a negative. overall i am very happy with it.

Easy to attach to the television and the remote is easy to use. Android television has great search and suggestion features and apps. My Roku is great but this is an additional offering worth the money including being able to cast with the chromecast.

Google ChromeCast works Great! I bought it specifically to stream YouTube TV and it exceeds my expectations. Easy to install and set up. Downloads various other streaming apps like MLB, etc. Good quality! Good price! Good availability!

I love how the Google TV combines all of my online streaming subscriptions and gives me recommendations across all of my services. It is super easy to use with the remote and is leaps and bounds better than the prior Google Chromecast!

A nearly perfect streaming device. Google's often buggy Bluetooth support in Android causes issues with this device, too. Bluetooth connected headphones and speakers might disconnect or cause odd issues in some apps. Highly recommended if you don't use Bluetooth but, even if you do, it's a great device; just be alert for unexpected issues.

Works amazingly! I can seamlessly cast whatever I want, and I now have full voice control of my TV. Not to mention that it groups all my streaming services into one feed, no more browsing each app for what I want to watch.

This is what Chromecast should have been all along! Finally I can use a physical remote with TV power and Volume control included. All the old school Chromecast functions are here, plus some new features like Group speakers. Great device and value!

It works great and the Google TV dashboard is nice. The only thing stopping this from being a 5 star is that it can lag at times.

Connected directly to a Denon avr-x4700h. My one gripe is, sometimes it doesn't recognize 4k which can be resolved by power cycling the avr. So, minus one star for always having to check the 4k status. Otherwise, it works very well with an easy to use user interface. We now have a total of five in the house.

Purchased to provide streaming services to a TV not connected coaxially to existing home cable service. No coax connect in room. Easy to install and configure. Connect easily to existing HBO, Showtime, Hulu, NetFlix etc accounts.

overall a B+ physical issues with small and limited tactile feel buttons, and remote overall is slippery, could have used better grip texture. works fine, all channels except AppleTV+ avail. reasonably responsive but I have also added the Goog enet power port. setup was easy, only issue I've had is Goog says it is CEC enabled, but Vizio disagrees.

This interface works well. It replaced a Roku on one TV with it because it was smoother. It seems to work better than another TV that has just Andriod TV on it. Recommended for replacing slower-interfaced smart TVs or upgrading a non-smart TV.

We love how easy this is to use and that you can add apps as they are available (or discovered). We don't watch TV a lot, but there is definitely variety for streaming. We would definitely purchase again.
